Brief: The USS Venture has dispatched an Away Team to deal with a hostage crisis on XXXXXXXX. After disputes regarding the recent elections, the losing faction has taken several senior members of the government prisoner and are demanding that a new election be held immediately. The prisoners are currently being held in the Ministry building. Starfleet, naturally, would prefer the situation to be resolved with a minimum of violence. Highlights: *The Pandarians return! Rego, Chubbs and Lulu get their meals once again! * Loami MCOs and Images MXOs! * Sick Bay is Destroyed! * The Ministry Building goes kaboom!!!! * Many injuries * A lot of great work by the cadets this evening! * GromVik is cool! :D

Darius, Welcome back to STSF! :( You're doing quite well, so keep up the good work. Here are a few things to keep in mind. 1) Try to vary your posts, especially when bridge positions are not available to new Ensigns out of the Academy 95% of the time. 2) Be confident! Work with other officers. Don't be afraid to propose solutions/hypotheses/etc. No one cares if you mess up. The Academy simulations are all about developing a new simmer into one that can hold his/her own. 3) PM a GM (heh heh, that rhymes) if you ever have any questions! Hope this helps!

MISSION BRIEFING: Tonight, the USS Venture is a bit crowded. Our cargo bays are full of animals from the preserve on Ysik Twelve, which was recently rendered uninhabitable by the expansion of its star. The inhabitants were safely evacuated long before, but they requested that the rare species in their preserve be rescued. We are due to deliver our furred and feathered cargo in 5 standard hours. Highlights: *Images MXOs *Animals go WILD! *Many first timers! (Welcome to STSF!) *Few casualties!

I always knew Grom wanted to sink his teeth into me, although the Panda suit kinda threw me. I remember once playing a large blob of Jello in the academy. I think that was the first sim that I ever ate a cadet. :) They're tastier than they look! :(

Choose a number, 1 being the lowest, 5 being the highest. After watching two seasons of Enterprise, I'm curious as to what people think regarding its Star Trek "worthiness." Is it good enough to be called Star Trek, is it right on par, or is it taking Star Trek to a whole new level? What's your analysis of Enterprise?

How did Grom become a Trek nerd? Well I'm happy you asked! Many years ago now, my mother pruchased me a Commander Riker and a Geordi LaForge figurine. This was my first real introduction to Star Trek. I began watching TNG...got hooked on DS9 post season 5...watched most of Voyager...started simming...and yeah, here I am...the rest is history! :) I guess I'm here because of my mother for two reasons.

The USS Venture is transporting supplies to a small mining colony on Dorgas Four, on the edge of Federation space. Highlights: * Laura and GromVik's inaugural Academy simulation! * Hyperdrive discovers that the mining colony really is mining! * r_tor is attacked by mean creatures! * No one dies!
