  1. Happy Birthday STSF! Only 11 more years and you can apply to become a GM!
  2. Finally, an interesting topic. :) Though, it's been a tough season for us. :P
  3. Welcome aboard! :)
  4. Would like to throw a verbal jab, but deciding to let it slide. :)
  5. Yeah, all you old folks are making it not cool anymore. :) j/k!
  6. The number of high-quality apps out there is exploding. Last week I was facinated with Sprout, this week it's Prezi. Going to make software a lot more useless. Cloud computing on its way to becoming mainstream too.
  7. A simmer from the 78th century. Note the deviant hairstyle indicates that he's probably living in his mother's nest still.
  8. hi

Welcome to STSF! Glad to have you aboard.
  9. Welcome aboard! :)
  10. Pretty easy to go 10 seasons when every gate looks basically the same, regardless of the planet. Hey look...another planet with North American looking woods! Nope, not cynical.
  11. Hey

Welcome to STSF! Hope you enjoy your time here.
  12. I don't think getting the precise science correct is what's important. Maybe to some people, but not to most. When it comes to sci-fi, believability is the most important thing. Can you convince me that a drop of "red matter" can blow up an entire planet? Can you sell me a time travel-based plot that doesn't unravel the moment it's introduced? After all, we are talking about entertainment here, not someone's doctoral thesis.
  13. Welcome aboard.
  14. Happy Birthday Kansas! Go ahead, take the day off...it's on me. :P
  15. Somebody seems to be already doing it in Frostburg, MD. I know, I've passed it many of times on the highway. Don't think significant work has been done in years though.
  16. LOL on stalker acquaintances, I know how you feel. As to your wife, I think it's totally cool to be sensitive to your wife and her feelings. After all, the reason you married (I assume) was that you made a vow before her and others that she would be number one in your life and who cares what your ex is saying about you? There are many things that are not wrong in life to do, per se. Yet, we don't live in a vacuum...the actions we take affect others around us. So I think there are times that actions that are generally permitted could be wrong if we don't take into account the consciences and feelings of others. Yeah, that came out more philosophical than it was supposed to....
  17. Welcome to STSF Kit!
  18. Sam + Birthday = Sam Birthday (duh!) Happy Birthday!
  19. Is there any way to suspend people's PM privileges for the first 24-48 hours upon registration? Maybe an add on of sorts?
  20. Wait...the U.S. has a soccer team? :)
  21. I Made the same mistake! Welcome to STSF! Hope you enjoy your time with us.
  22. Happy Birthday!
  23. Could Kirk really have saved himself while falling off the cliff? Not according to Pop-Sci. :(
  24. Welcome aboard! :(
  25. Nope, but I did notice some of them are on Hulu. I own all five seasons of B5, totally worth a purchase. First season is a little rough, but the next four a pure gold! :P
