  5. What's an eggbeater, a musician, and a phaser?
  6. You all toss in just 2 cents? That's not enough to get a website! Seriously though, I think what we need is a single website for all the sims, and then have it that you can go from there to each sim separately. Making a wiki sounds okay, but a problem is that then anyone can add information that may be plain bogus. Either that or two people argue about something though it. A website though that has chatlogs for one sim for one thing, and information about races in another, soemthing like that. Though the maor thing thats going to happen is RL timing. Kids that are in school that want to play are most likily going to choose something like aegis because its on a weekend night where their parents arn't going to push them so much. ::tosses 5 cents in:: :)

  13. A Nick, Ethan, and Ronin Production Ethan, waiting in Sickbay with Ronin, saw Dr. Lepage emerge from the morgue area and head back to his office. She hadn't wanted to crowd him, but it seemed like a good time to intrude now. Nudging Ronin, she stood and walked over, hitting the chime on the office door. Taking the hint he followed behind Ethan. Nick was still in his scrubs, cradling a steaming mug of coffee in his hands. Just as he sat down behind his desk the chime sounded. He sighed, thinking he knew who it was. "Enter," Nick said after a second. He wasn't sure what his findings meant but maybe he'd find out soon. Ethan walked in, Ronin just a step behind. Cutting to the core of the matter, she asked, "So?" Taking a seat Ronin keenly listened in to the conversation. Nick indicated the two chairs across his desk. Considering his answer carefully he took a sip of coffee. "I told you my first guess was that he died of internal injuries...well, my guess was right. Several broken ribs, a punctured lung but he finally died of the ruptured kidney. He lost so much blood that I had quite a job drawing some for the tox scan." Ethan nodded, "Well, we found something interesting as well. The DNA we recovered from his uniform came back human... but there is no match in the database. Whoever it was, is a ghost...they don't exist." Nick looked from Ethan to Ronin and back, obviously confused. "So it's no one from this station, right?" Nodding, Ronin replied, "Right. Security is checking records for this Glinn Tanar. I'll tell them to check surgery records as well.” Ethan leaned forward slightly, "But the fact that it's human... means it wasn't an internal faction on Cardassia. And it begs the question of who wouldn't be in the database." Nick held up a hand, to indicate he needed a second to think this over. "Ok, so you're telling me there's a human on Cardassia who tried to and finally succeeded in killing a Cardassian who was desperate to get us a blood sample so we'd be able to assist Cardassian doctors in treating the epidemic that is spreading on their planet." He wasn't sure he had quite gotten all the details right. "Of course security will be granted access to all his medical records we have. Ethan nodded, "You've got it right. And to make it more fun, it's a human that doesn't exist, and that doesn't show up on any current scans of the planet's lifesigns." "We’re checking the Cardassian database's for family members in case they know anything," Shephard commented. Nick resisted the urge to bang his head on the desk. "To make a long story short, we don't know who it was, why they did it and how they got onto the planet without giving away their identity." He looked at Ronin. "I don't envy you." "That's a pretty good summation... but you forgot, 'there may be Federation involvement, and that would look bad'," Hawke added. "Yeah, lots of records to go though. I'll see if he had any grudges against anyone especially a human, but chances are the human that did this is probably on a ship getting as far away from here as possible." "And it's almost certain that they aren't a registered passenger," Ethan noted. "You mean someone's trying to destabilize Cardassia?" Nick scoffed. "Not that it'd take much to do that. But we're talking about murder. And if you seriously consider that possibility, Ethan you'll also have to consider the possibility that the disease is not a coincidence." Grimly, Ethan nodded, "That's certainly possible. Why they would go to that trouble when we're here trying to *Stabilize* the area, I don't know. But it does kind of look that way." Shaking his head Nick tried to make sense of this. "And if they are working on their own? Maybe the Federation doesn't know about this." He looked at Ronin. "Are there any records of incidents involving individuals or small groups? I mean anything that'd indicate someone would actually do something like this?" Ethan shrugged, "There are plenty of individuals that might still harbor a grudge. The Maquis are possible, of course. But it's been years... and years. And to find someone that isn't registered... that would take some doing." "Possibly, but I don’t think so. I then security should take a team down to the planet to see how bad it really is. And can the disease only affect Cardassians, then it might be intentional,” Ronin suggested. Nick leaned forward, his elbows resting on his desk. "There is a difference between harboring a grudge and committing murder. I have already told Doctor Pavilion to assemble a team should our intervention become necessary. Both Commander Zhu and Lieutenant Anderson are informed and ready to help us set up triage centers and conduct the necessary research. I think you should talk to them, Ronin." Ethan looked at Ronin, "You realize that might not be safe?" She paused, holding up a hand to forestall any objection, then nodded, "Okay, take a team." With a smirk, she looked at Lepage, "I hope you've cleared me for duty, because I'm not going to sit around and just watch here. I'll be good, I promise, and I won't go with him, but with Verso's departure, someone has to coordinate. But let's send in security first to be sure that we aren't going to be the subject of mob justice." Nick sighed and leaned back in his chair. "You're lucky we're a bit short on security personnel lately. Before I clear you for duty I'd like to talk to you, though. I'd like to...well know a few things. It'll only take a few minutes!” Ethan nodded, turning to Ronin, "Get the team together. I'll get in touch when you're cleared to go." "Is there anything else we should watch out for?” Ronin asked. Nick shook his head. "I don't even know what we're dealing with at this point. I sent Mimi to assist science with the research. Just...watch out for yourself and try not to get in contact with any bodily fluids." Nodding and forming a plan Ronin replied, "Yes, sir" and he walked out of the office, heading directly to main security, while already giving commands though his comm.
