Star Trek of course! Also, any other science fiction, or fantasy, such as the Lord of the Rings.
  1. Congratulations on graduating, finn :)
  2. I said I would be back, but I still haven't been to an academy in... what is it, four months now? It's because of a stupid research paper I have due for school >.< anyway, this time I'm really coming back, like, really. I'm going to be at the academy tomorrow night, and I'm going to show the STSF and it's GMs that I can graduate the academy (and make it to all my sims). And no, I never graduated, though I had the feeling I was getting close to it. Guess that's all changed now
  3. Yes that's right, after a three month break, Cadet Khan (thats me) is going to try his hand at graduating from the academy once again! as long as I'm not in OPS... I hate OPS
  4. I have the TNG technical manual in my house somewhere.
  5. Note to self - next time, let the GMs help out the cadets. I made a total fool of myself as ops last friday. I didn't pay attention to the sim, I probably missed every order given to me, all because I helped out a cadet. not that that's bad, because now he has a friend, and knows the basics, but I bet the GMs opinions of me went down alot... :P what does Ops do, anyway? I mean, I think I scanned something, but that's about it. I don't know how the sim ended, all I know is that the AT beamed down, there was some dust, something about lifesigns, then I stopped paying attention, and the sim ended... I need to make up for that HORRIBLE display of roleplaying... ><
  6. Thanks to Moose's tips, and the support of some people of the message boards, my first Starfleet Academy mission was a success... sort of (we died.) I am definitely coming back tomorrow night!!
  7. Cdt_KHAN!!!!!!!!! lol
  8. Thanks for your help. Now that I think about it, maybe cdt_zack isn't a good name. I play Everquest 2 for Roleplaying, and one thing I've learned is that you MUST have a good name, just helps you to get immersed... how about... Cdt_Khan...
  9. Are you allowed to change your simming name once you graduate the academy, and can you change your name (add abbreviations) without logging out of the sim?
  10. Alright, thank you. I'm hoping to attend the academy tonight at 7:00. I think I will go with the name Cdt_Zack for my sim name, sounds good to me.
  11. ok, that's good to know. I wouldn't want to play a game where someone could come in labeled as the captain, and have nothing done about it. Would it be wise to re-register my forum name so it begins with Cdt_ and has a more Role-Play freindly name than Star Trekkian? (Like Cdt_Zack or something)
  12. Hey, I'm new to this Role-Playing game, and want to know how exactly I'm supposed to make a character. I understand that you type in the name you want to use when you log into the chat, but how do I save the character name I make, and password protect it? Also, couldn't I just put a higher rank into my name, without actually being promoted? is there protection against cheating like that too?
