Midshipman William T. Spitfire Assistant Security Officer USS Agincourt "The First Day" It was his first day on the job on board the USS Agincourt, well not exactly his first day on the job. He started the job on the day of shoreleave. He was alittle cocksure, no really cocksure on the first day. He had completely forgot to check in with the chief security officer. When he had contacted his chief ,Lt.Cmdr. Benjamin Robair,but his chief was only able to say, "Excuse me ,but who is this?" His face turn slowly red as he replied, "Oh sorry I forgot to tell you that I just came on and I'm going to be one of your assistant security officer." After contacting his chief, he beamed over to Starbase 621. He started to wonder aimlessly getting lost in the process. He turned random corners finding the area around him was getting weirder and weirder. He finally had the sence to turn around trying to get back to the beam in point. He finally entered the promenade only to be contacted by his chief to return to the ship . Shortly after beaming back aboard and walking to the chief's office, he met his fellow security officer named Lt. M'rrett Sh'aow "Kansas" JoN's. He said a slimple, "Hello" to the Caitian. She turned around and replied, "Oh hello there, my name is Lt. Mrrett Sh'aow JoN's, but most people call me Kansas. Did you come on with those new officers?" She stuck out a paw. He shook her paw, "Yes, I did. Hello again. My name is Spitfire." The door of the chief's office suddenly opened and Kansas whispered, "Let me go in first to take the hits." They entered the dimmly lit room. Robair said happly, "Take a seat." They sat down. His chief said, "I'm going to ask a few questions to you"He looked at Spitfire who was starting to sweat and was only able to nod."You know steeling is bad, right?" Spitfire replied, "Yes, sir." "What if you need something, let say from medical you ask the the CMO right?" "Yes." "What if he says no? What do you do?" Spitfire waited a minute or two and then replied, "Explain why you need it?" Robair nodded,"What if he still says no? Should you still take it?" He hesitated, "Um...no." Kansas next to him gave him a glance. Rabair turned to Kansas, "Is there a problem?" Kansas replied alittle worried, "No, sir." "Good because Spitfire answered the question perficly. Last I check the the yougher officers learn from the older ones. Mabye you should learn for him. You two should learn from each other.Dissmissed!" "Yes, sir" They both said at once. Spitfire exited Robair's office nearly trembling. He started heading for the transporters wanting to spend the last part of the day resting aboard the station.
