My favorite older class is the Miranda class, since it is one if the older class ships to still be in service, and it has a nice design. My favorite newer classes are the Prometheus and Nebula (damn polls wont let you vote twice) because they both look cool, and are heavly armed.

Well you dont need much knowledge to be successful. You just need to be able to be a team player and know some, if not all, terms. Like that stick thing that you inject people with stuff is a hypospray. If your trying to find a crash course on this stuff, just ask around and we'll be happy to help you the best we can. ROFL!!!(try putting Ewoks vs. Red Shirt) Star Trek will win agenst Star Wars. The death star is the most powerful thing in Star Wars, and it has serious flaws that could get it distroyed easly. Star Trek has all kind of powerful torpedos, and plus they have armor and shields like 1000 time better then Wars shields. I'd say if you put 5 Wars fleet (Dominion War type fleet which is around 100 ships) and one Trek fleet, I'd say Trek would win easy, losing less then 10 ships.

I use Firefox. I've tried that Internet Explorer thing, and it keep crashing on me. Couldn't sim for more then 30 minutes. (If I could vote twice my second vote would be 'Oh, boy, a poll! I love polls!')

Well you find it in anystore anymore. There was a lawsuit agenst Activition and they were forced to stop production, so they are rare and sold at around $45(EBay used)-$150(new and unopen). You would be lucky to get it around the 45 range.
