  1. Anywho, welcome my friend to STSF! Cadet's do get killed in the academy sims, but it isnt very common. So honestly, don't worry. You will be fine.

Were you here around Halloween? Oh gosh, I only lived through one simm that entire week...

  2. What Crazy Thinks Are His Last Thoughts

    Ensign Jason M. Craz

    Personal Log

    Assisstant Engineer

As the weapons were pointed at Jason, a lot of things rushed through his head. I wish I'd gone to Vulcan. What am I thinking? Hey, Jason, wake up! You're going to be vaporized by some kind of bloody alien weapon! You don't even know how it works! Wait, isn't the moment before death supposed to be much more calm? Shouldn't I be seeing parts of my life? Bloody hell, I wanted to live at least long enough to be a Lieutenant! To see a Klingon would've been fun. Craz had his hand resting on a phaser pistol, not sure whether he should attempt to draw it.

Who am I kidding? A computer sophisticated enough to keep me from shutting these things is going to beat me on a draw. Why couldn't I have cut power to the security grid? I should've done that. Well, hindsight's always perfect. I wonder if I'll feel it? What's the after life like? This is a huge bother...

  3. My Name Is Crazy

    Ensign Jason M. Craz

    Personal log

    Assisstant Engineer

    Log- Jason M. Craz

Well, this is my first log, isn't it? What to put in a log... Craz rubs his head for second, running a hand through his hair. I guess to put some things down for the record. My name's Jason M. Craz. My accepted nickname from birth is Crazy. I cannot say how much I despise that name. It's a bloody annoyance. I'm prefectly sane. My major at the Academy was warp theory. I didn't want to be on this field assignment. My best work is in a lab, taking some new technology apart or trying out something new. Starfleet Corps of Engineering, now that's a job I could love. Out here, there's too many chances for death. Taking for example, what happened today with the EPS conduit on B deck. If I'd done something wrong, I could be in sickbay, or even not making this log. There's too many variables out here. But, as my cousin Thomas the MACO says 'The things not to question why, but to do and die.' Besides, this can be a good chance for me to get to know alien cultures. Then again, there's not much chance for that as an Engineer. I guess that's a curse for being able to fix things. End log.

Jason pulled himself up from his chair, and takes a sip from his cup of water. His quarters were incredibly dark, with the only illumination coming from his computer and a small lamp barely giving off light. Near the viewport of his quarters, there was a a lab table with many gadgets on it, all things that Craz was working on. One, a square gadget, would decrease plasma consumption in the impulse engines. Another, a tubular object that resembeled a lightsaber(Craz was a movie buff), could be used to weld even the coolest metals together. Of course, all had flaws that Craz couldn't fix. He guessed that was another curse he suffered. He could never work out the bugs of things he was trying out.

  4. All right, I'm going to get shot for this post....

Deep Space 9 was great. Number 1. Possibly the most real series I've seen in a while. I give it a 10 out of 10

There's a tie for second! The Next Generation and Voyager, both with 9.1!

I have a reason for TNG's low rating.(in my opinion) I hated Troi. Too much screen time that should've been given to Geordi. Also, too many Wesley episodes. I liked Wil Wheaton though. Voyager was great. I liked Neelix. OKAY, I said it! Neelix has his moments! I love to hate him!

In third place, with 5.3 is Enterprise. I started watching Enterprise in dreaded season 4. I loved a good number of episodes, but episodes like 'Bound' and 'These Are the Voyages..' ruined it.(Don't even get me started on 'Bound') Archer's tied with Kirk as my least favorite Captain. THERE! I said that too. For me, Archer's best line was when he was doing 'Take her out, straight and steady.' That's it. Although I have to say I wanted another season to see how Vulcan did, and the Romulan war....

In last is The Original Series, with a 2.0. That's because I liked 2 out of every ten episodes I saw. Kirk was annoying, I hated the music, and the bright part of those episodes was Spock...

  5. Outside of STSF, it was January 16th, 2005, at 8:30... In STSF, it was the Monday Academies on the week before Halloween, so I guess the 24th of October. I died both times that night.
