I would like to test anything that shows some results on that big crystalized chunk of the terrain out there.

Containment levels are holding.

Now, do either of those involve anything as easy as throwing a bucket of water on them?

That looks, garbled. I suppose the repeating parts could be echoes. Signal seems elongated in some parts and compacted in others.

How many crystals in the caverns are we talking?

From what we witness, nearly none. They only seemed to form on our power sources.

Manticore had been destroyed. Two years later, the crew of the
Manticore-B had been splintered. Kansas was reassigned off the
ship to a new position guarding the Federation President. Faldek
had been given a special assignment which lead to him and Gila
going to Cardassia where they met up with an old friend, Edvenent.
Manticore herself returned from a years long shakedown cruise and
returned to Starbase -REDACTED- to be fitted with a new dorsal
module. During a conference on the lunar colony, Kansas was able
to thwart an assassination attempt on the President. This proved to
be a distraction for the real mission, the theft of Manticore's
dorsal module, a weapon known only as the Planet Killer. Manticore
was sent after it but wound up running into a group of mercenaries
they didn't expect and lost Captain McFly in the process. Kansas was
then sent in separately to find the module and slowly uncovered a
conspiracy involving high ranking Starfleet officers. Meanwhile,
Faldek's mission was to track down a theft of a Federation weapon.
After two years the mission seemed as if it may have been scrubbed
but they soon learned that it was restarted and was much larger
than original anticipated. Faldek discovered a new devastating
Dominion Battleship. Gila learned select Jem'Hadar soldiers were
being trained on Federation technology. And Edvenent found a
connection between their mission and the theft of the PK. Kansas
was able to track down the location of the module but found it had
already been moved. However she did retrieve McFly. Faldek, Gila &
Edvenent were instructed to stop the transfer of this large weapon
only to discover the location given to them was wrong. Eventually,
all parties found their way back to Manticore. After a brief briefing
they determine the best course of action is to destroy the module
now located on the new devastating Dominion Battleship. They send a
team over to sabotage the PK but weren't able to reach the control
room before the battleship was able to demonstrate its power on an
unsuspecting planet. With the aide of the Vertical, Maelstrom and
Kieran, they were able to destroy the Dominion Battleship along
with the PK. But now, Kansas has some unfinished business to
attend to.

Manticore had been destroyed. Two years later, the crew of the
Manticore-B had been splintered. Kansas was reassigned off the
ship to a new position guarding the Federation President. Faldek
had been given a special assignment which lead to him and Gila
going to Cardassia where they met up with an old friend, Edvenent.
Manticore herself returned from a years long shakedown cruise and
returned to Starbase -REDACTED- to be fitted with a new dorsal
module. During a conference on the lunar colony, Kansas was able
to thwart an assassination attempt on the President. This proved to
be a distraction for the real mission, the theft of Manticore's
dorsal module, a weapon known only as the Planet Killer. Manticore
was sent after it but wound up running into a group of mercenaries
they didn't expect and lost Captain McFly in the process. Kansas was
then sent in separately to find the module and slowly uncovered a
conspiracy involving high ranking Starfleet officers. Meanwhile,
Faldek's mission was to track down a theft of a Federation weapon.
After two years the mission seemed as if it may have been scrubbed
but they soon learned that it was restarted and was much larger
than original anticipated. Faldek discovered a new devastating
Dominion Battleship. Gila learned select Jem'Hadar soldiers were
being trained on Federation technology. And Edvenent found a
connection between their mission and the theft of the PK. Kansas
was able to track down the location of the module but found it had
already been moved. However she did retrieve McFly. Faldek, Gila &
Edvenent were instructed to stop the transfer of this large weapon
only to discover the location given to them was wrong. Eventually,
all parties found their way back to Manticore. After a brief briefing
they determine the best course of action is to destroy the module
now located on the new devastating Dominion Battleship. They send a
team over to sabotage the PK but weren't able to reach the control
room before the battleship was able to demonstrate its power on an
unsuspecting planet. The crew must stop this ship before it can
unleash its power on Earth.

Meanwhile... Starfleet has realized the influence of the Dominion
on the assassination attempt of the Federation President days
earlier. Thanks to the intel gathering efforts of our heroes
Starfleet has now turned its attention towards Cardassia and have
sent three ships to patrol the boarder. The USS Vertical, Kieran
and Maelstrom.

MISSION BRIEFING: Excalibur is currently in orbit of the agricultural colony of Trakis III responding to a muddled distress call. Arriving, they have found the colony to be completely deserted. The AT has discovered the origin of the distress call, though it strangely appears to be placed sometime in the future. The entire complex is also experiencing strange power fluctuations and outages. As we begin, teams are entering the engineering and science wings to investigate.

USS Manticore - Mondays 10 ET - Command Staff: Captain McFly, Kansas Kenickie

= USS MANTICORE BRIEFING #1267, STARDATE 52404.22 =

= Manticore had been destroyed. Two years later, the crew of the Manticore-B had been splintered. Kansas was reassigned off the ship to a new position guarding the Federation President. Faldek had been given a special assignment which lead to him and Gila going to Cardassia where they met up with an old friend, Edvenent. Manticore herself returned from a years long shakedown cruise and returned to Starbase -REDACTED- to be fitted with a new dorsal module. During a conference on the lunar colony, Kansas was able to thwart an assassination attempt on the President. This proved to be a distraction for the real mission, the theft of Manticore's dorsal module, a weapon known only as the Planet Killer. Manticore was sent after it but wound up running into a group of mercenaries they didn't expect and lost Captain McFly in the process. Kansas was then sent in separately to find the module and slowly uncovered a conspiracy involving high ranking Starfleet officers. Meanwhile, Faldek's mission was to track down a theft of a Federation weapon. After two years the mission seemed as if it may have been scrubbed but they soon learned that it was restarted and was much larger than original anticipated. Faldek discovered a new devastating Dominion Battleship. Gila learned select Jem'Hadar soldiers were being trained on Federation technology. And Edvenent found a connection between their mission and the theft of the PK. Kansas was able to track down the location of the module but found it had already been moved. However she did retrieve McFly. Faldek, Gila & Edvenent were instructed to stop the transfer of this large weapon only to discover the location given to them was wrong. Eventually, all parties found their way back to Manticore. After a brief briefing they determine the best course of action is to destroy the module now located on the new devastating Dominion Battleship. = starfleet

MISSION BRIEFING: Excalibur is currently in orbit of the agricultural colony of Trakis III responding to a muddled distress call. Arriving, they have found the colony to be completely deserted. The AT has discovered the origin of the distress call, though it strangely appears to be placed sometime in the future. As we continue, the AT is searching for more clues and the power has just gone out. Irene managed to get the emergency lights working in medical, but everything else is still dead.

Rex> Don't act like it's coming out of your personal stores. You're just going to juggle things around until the tallies are in the right columns and... ::pauses:: What is that?

Concerned as she heads for Science, she starts taking readings of the humming. +Others+ "You all hearing the walls... vibrate?"

+Irene+ “Yes, it’s disconcerting.”

ACTION> The humming grows louder, rising to a piercing whine that's enough to rattle the eardrums. Then another pop and they're all plunged into darkness.

Irene turns her flashlight back on. "I wish it'd leave the go part behind. And the humming. Some kind of resonance in the power system?"

Manticore had been destroyed. Two years later, the crew of the
Manticore-B had been splintered. Kansas was reassigned off the
ship to a new position guarding the Federation President. Faldek
had been given a special assignment which lead to him and Gila
going to Cardassia where they met up with an old friend, Edvenent.
Manticore herself returned from a years long shakedown cruise and
returned to Starbase -REDACTED- to be fitted with a new dorsal
module. During a conference on the lunar colony, Kansas was able
to thwart an assassination attempt on the President. This proved to
be a distraction for the real mission, the theft of Manticore's
dorsal module, a weapon known only as the Planet Killer. Manticore
was sent after it but wound up running into a group of mercenaries
they didn't expect and lost Captain McFly in the process. Kansas was
then sent in separately to find the module and slowly uncovered a
conspiracy involving high ranking Starfleet officers. Meanwhile,
Faldek's mission was to track down a theft of a Federation weapon.
After two years the mission seemed as if it may have been scrubbed
but they soon learned that it was restarted and was much larger
than original anticipated. Faldek discovered a new devastating
Dominion Battleship. Gila learned select Jem'Hadar soldiers were
being trained on Federation technology. And Edvenent found a
connection between their mission and the theft of the PK. Kansas
was able to track down the location of the module but found it had
already been moved. However she did retrieve McFly. Faldek, Gila &
Edvenent were instructed to stop the transfer of this large weapon
only to discover the location given to them was wrong. Eventually,
all parties found their way back to Manticore. And now, they
discuss the best course of action to take with the module before
its devastating power is used against them.

She jumps back once the cover opens, seeing the sparking power node. She checks with her tricorder if the node is defective... "Well, that'll do it. No node, no power. It looks like it needs to be pushed back in, but it might have popped out because it's broken, and I'm fresh out of power nodes."

"Don't look at me. I'm a doctor not battery salesperson."

USS Manticore - Mondays 10 ET - Command Staff: Captain McFly, Kansas Kenickie

= USS MANTICORE BRIEFING #1265, STARDATE 52404.08 =

= The new Manticore-B was set to receive her new PK module after a lengthy shakedown cruise but the module was intercepted on its way to Starbase -REDACTED-. Manticore has been sent in to investigate. They tracked down the thieves to a space junk yard but subsequently lost the Captain along with the module. Later they uncovered a link to their favorite despicable Ferengi, Mork. Through coercion, he told he was simply a broker for an Admiral Leyton, who is now their number one suspect. After Kansas interrogation of him, she discovered coordinates of the possible location of the module. However, upon crossing into Cardassian space, they picked up a distress comm from Faldek and altered their course. They rescued the party but found themselves in the line of fire from a Cardassian ship. It was destroyed and now they try to finish their mission. Meanwhile, Kansas was reassigned to Presidential security and was able to thwart an assassination attempt at the same time Manticore's module was stolen. A series of picture were sent her way and she learned that a Vorta surgically altered themselves to sneak in as the shooter. Their body has since disappeared. Admiral Jaffee relayed the information about Leyton to Kansas and she tracked down his home. He told her everything which included learning about a faction looking to end Starfleet and one of her more trusted associates is in on it... Lt Ryan. She also discovered the possible location of the module. It proved to be correct. She found the continer that held the module, now empty. But she also found McFly, and not in good shape. She beamed him to her shuttle and went looking for info about the module. In the process found a gang of mercs that she was able to make quick work out of. Back on the shuttle with her intel, she exits the nebula and stumbles upon Manticore. They return to the ship where Matt is able to get medical attention. Faldek and Gila are now a year into an undercover assignment on Cardassia. The purpose of which the crew has not been notified of. They've met up with Edvenent to search for -REDACTED- but had little success. They became separated but in their new assignments were each able to learn key details about a top secret mission to steal a devastating Federation weapon. This weapon they have yet to find however, they did uncover something just as bad... a new battlecruiser class Jem'Hadar ship. The mission took a turn and all three people were able to escape Cardassia and Faldek was able to send all their data to his informant. They were about to head into Federation space when they were given a new mission. Based on Faldek's intel, SFI believes module and this new ship are linked and they've been sent to recon rendezvous coordinates Gila has obtained. Once they arrived they were ambushed by multiple Cardassian ships. They took out one but waited out the other while hoping someone answered their distress call. Manticore arrived and beamed the three Cardassians on board. But just as quickly, a Keldon class Cardassian ship emerged from inside the nebula. The party returned to Manticore as she took a beating but was able to take down the Cardassian ship. = starfleet

We went to investigate the nebula that Dr. Orrak got information on, alas only finding a couple pissed off Keldon's which are now space debris.

I got a photo of that ship from a source along with a vorta and 2 fleet officers working with him

I"ve seen it, up close and in person, it's bigger than anything I've ever seen.

Working on that information I figured out where they were taken. a Nebula.. but I only found Captain McFly there when I reached that area

So based on what I've read concerning the ships current status we need to go completely recon and find out the location of this ship so we can send in the fleet.

I was able to steal a bunch of Data crystals and PADD's from the cargo ship in that nebula

One test I want to try is to dissolve the crystals. See if they will revert back to gas or whatever their source was once energy is removed from the device and the atmospheric contitions are set to what they were in the caves.

We'll need to be sure everyone knows not to breach containment. I would almost advise anything done with the crystals to be done away from our facilities, if that were possible.

I don't think we have time to set up proper equipment elsewhere or even move them to the Fed colony. But we do need to take precautions. As you said, we don't need a coating of this on everything else.

She beamed him to her shuttle and went looking for info about the module. In the process found a gang of mercs that she was able to make quick work out of. Back on the shuttle with her intel, she exits the nebula to get Matt some help. Faldek and Gila are now a year into an undercover assignment on Cardassia. The purpose of which the crew has not been notified of. They've met up with Edvenent to search for -REDACTED- but had little success. They became separated but in their new assignments were each able to learn key details about a top secret mission to steal a devastating Federation weapon. This weapon they have yet to find however, they did uncover something just as bad... a new battlecruiser class Jem'Hadar ship. The mission took a turn and all three people were able to escape Cardassia and Faldek was able to send all their data to his informant. They were about to head into Federation space when they were given a new mission. Based on Faldek's intel, SFI believes module and this new ship are linked and they've been sent to recon rendezvous coordinates Gila has obtained. Once they arrived they were ambushed by multiple Cardassian ships. They took out one but waited out the other while hoping someone answered their distress call. Manticore arrived and beamed the three Cardassians on board. But just as quickly, a Keldon class Cardassian ship emerged from inside the nebula. The party returned to Manticore as she took a beating but was able to take down the Cardassian ship. = starfleet

Meanwhile, Kansas was reassigned to Presidential security and
was able to thwart an assassination attempt at the same time
Manticore's module was stolen. A series of picture were sent
her way and she learned that a Vorta surgically altered
themselves to sneak in as the shooter. Their body has since
disappeared. Admiral Jaffee relayed the information about Leyton
to Kansas and she tracked down his home. He told her everything
which included learning about a faction looking to end Starfleet
and one of her more trusted associates is in on it... Lt Ryan.
She also discovered the possible location of the module. It
proved to be correct. She found the container that held the
module, now empty. But she also found McFly, and not in good
shape.

Faldek and Gila are now a year into an undercover assignment on
Cardassia. The purpose of which the crew has not been notified of.
They've met up with Edvenent to search for -REDACTED- but had
little success. They became separated but in their new assignments
were each able to learn key details about a top secret mission
to steal a devastating Federation weapon. This weapon they have
yet to find however, they did uncover something just as bad...
a new battlecruiser class Jem'Hadar ship. The mission took a
turn and all three people were able to escape Cardassia and
Faldek was able to send all their data to his informant.
They were about to head into Federation space when they were
given a new mission. Based on Faldek's intel, SFI believes
module and this new ship are linked and they've been sent to
recon rendezvous coordinates Gila has obtained. Once they arrived
they were ambushed by multiple Cardassian ships. They took out one
but waited out the other while hoping someone answered their
distress call. Manticore arrived and beamed the three Cardassians
on board. But just as quickly, a Keldon class Cardassian ship
emerged from inside the nebula.

= /\ = USS MANTICORE BRIEFING #1262, STARDATE 52403.18 = /\ =
The new Manticore-B was set to receive her new PK module after
a lengthy shakedown cruise but the module was intercepted on its
way to Starbase -REDACTED-. Manticore has been sent in to
investigate. They tracked down the thieves to a space junk yard
but subsequently lost the Captain along with the module. Later
they uncovered a link to their favorite despicable Ferengi,
Mork. Through coercion, he told he was simply a broker for an
Admiral Leyton, who is now their number one suspect. However,
Manticore has just received word of a massive Dominion ship
that has just destroyed the Defiant class USS Valiant leaving
few survivors. Starfleet Intelligence believes it may be linked
to the stolen module and they've been sent in to investigate.

Meanwhile, Kansas was reassigned to Presidential security and
was able to thwart an assassination attempt at the same time
Manticore's module was stolen. A series of picture were sent
her way and she learned that a Vorta surgically altered
themselves to sneak in as the shooter. Their body has since
disappeared. Admiral Jaffee relayed the information about Leyton
to Kansas and she tracked down his home. He told her everything
which included learning about a faction looking to end Starfleet
and one of her more trusted associates is in on it... Lt Ryan.

Faldek and Gila are now a year into an undercover assignment on
Cardassia. The purpose of which the crew has not been notified of.
They've met up with Edvenent to search for -REDACTED- but had
little success. They became separated but in their new assignments
were each able to learn key details about a top secret mission
to steal a devastating Federation weapon. This weapon they have
yet to find however, they did uncover something just as bad...
a new battlecruiser class Jem'Hadar ship. The mission took a
turn and all three people were able to escape Cardassia and
Faldek was able to send all their data to his informant.
They were about to head into Federation space when they were
given a new mission. Based on Faldek's intel, SFI believes
module and this new ship are linked and they've been sent to
recon rendezvous coordinates Gila has obtained. Once they arrived
they were ambushed by multiple Cardassian ships. They're doing
their best to hide but who knows how long they can hold out.
