Manticore had been destroyed. Two years later, the crew of the
Manticore-B had been splintered. Kansas was reassigned off the
ship to a new position guarding the Federation President. Faldek
had been given a special assignment which lead to him and Gila
going to Cardassia where they met up with an old friend, Edvenent.
Manticore herself returned from a years long shakedown cruise and
returned to Starbase -REDACTED- to be fitted with a new dorsal
module. During a conference on the lunar colony, Kansas was able
to thwart an assassination attempt on the President. This proved to
be a distraction for the real mission, the theft of Manticore's
dorsal module, a weapon known only as the Planet Killer. Manticore
was sent after it but wound up running into a group of mercenaries
they didn't expect and lost Captain McFly in the process. Kansas was
then sent in separately to find the module and slowly uncovered a
conspiracy involving high ranking Starfleet officers. Meanwhile,
Faldek's mission was to track down a theft of a Federation weapon.
After two years the mission seemed as if it may have been scrubbed
but they soon learned that it was restarted and was much larger
than original anticipated. Faldek discovered a new devastating
Dominion Battleship. Gila learned select Jem'Hadar soldiers were
being trained on Federation technology. And Edvenent found a
connection between their mission and the theft of the PK. Kansas
was able to track down the location of the module but found it had
already been moved. However she did retrieve McFly. Faldek, Gila &
Edvenent were instructed to stop the transfer of this large weapon
only to discover the location given to them was wrong. Eventually,
all parties found their way back to Manticore. And now, they
discuss the best course of action to take with the module before
its devastating power is used against them.
