Well, everyone has to start somewhere. In some cases restart. On Manticore we have a player who hasn't been on since the AOL days. He's come back with a new character and starting off brand new.

It's difficult trying to jump in the middle of an on going plot. I'm sure Captain Swain will do everything he can to help you adjust. Another idea is to continue watching everyone and relearn by observation until their current plot has finished so you can start fresh with them. And I'm sure there are other ideas to comb through.

We're all here to just have fun and enjoy this thing we all have in common. I would encourage giving it another go and not worrying about trying to pick up where you left off but instead starting it anew. And any one of us would be glad to help you along. If not, though, I understand. I'm glad you at least gave it a try. :)

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. I have a friend visiting me for Christmas. I know how to sim, it's not that. I just feel out of place after all these years.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having a difficult time on here. Is there anything I could help you better understand? I know new technology isn't always intuitive but I and others are always available to help. Just need to let us know what you're having trouble with. :)

I just feel out of place, like Scotty in Relics, like I don't belong here. It's been too long since I've been a part of SFOL. I understand technology. It's not that.
