  1. Nice choice Images. I call that type of retro style hat the "50's to early 60's classic", since it is a shade smaller then the fedoras of the 30's and 40's.

Yeah, with a new hat i've completed a strange mix of style. Rat Pack all the way baby. With a touch of Dylan Moran in "Black Books" and a sprinkling of Vince Noir in "The Mighty Boosh"

And how is this the most exciting convo on this thread?? You're getting lax guys!

Today J.K Rowling announced the details to her most exciting Potter sequel yet. This time Harry, Hermione and Ron aren't fighting the dark lord Voldemort. No, now the battle's against piercing infections, mascara misplacements and those bouncers that keep taking away their "magic" pills cos they just don't understand what it feels like to feel dead inside too. But warning, with the newly added adult scene at the end including all 3 of the gang, this one's not for the kids!

  3. Over in Britain: I'm sick and tired of stupid news reports on this being the tenth anniversary of Diana's death. Everyone I know feels the same. Just for hearing some of the Diana jokes I've heard recently I am so going to hell! Put this way, you don't want to hear the punchline to the joke "what was the last thing to go through Lady Di's mind?".

    Its bad. ;)

  4. To:

ADMIRAL WAYNE DAY (Commanding Officer, USS Excalibur)

CAPTAIN AH-WINDU CORIZON (Executive Officer, USS Excalibur)

    From:

LIEUTENANT ATTICUS SEGAMI (Chief of Security, USS Excalibur)

    Dear Sirs,

It is with great pride that I write this message to you. Its contents refer to the members of the team I have recently returned with after our successful away mission in hostile territory. The mission in question’s details need not be discussed here as I am sure you are aware of those already. However, as team leader, the events that unfolded during the op. require me to make a heavy recommendation.

From the very start we were faced with overwhelming odds. The chance of accomplishing our goal was slim, our chances of survival slimmer and our intel was low. Nonetheless, under extreme pressure, the officers under my supervision acted with nothing less than true selflessness, efficiency and a level of clear headed obedience that truly makes each and every one of them more than worthy of their Starfleet commissions. Though heavy defenses took the lives of a few of our number, the remaining squad performed their duty to the absolute letter. And though all the participants involved in this venture deserve praise some demand a specific mention.

It is therefore my proposal that these three officers receive a special commendation for their recent actions noting their bravery and skill. Along with myself, they reached and secured the command centre of an extremely well-defended facility and caused many enemy casualties in the process. These people are heroes.

    There names are as follows:

    Commander Laarell Elai Teykier

    Lieutenant M’Vess Vacer JoNs

    Lieutenant (Junior Grade) Doug T

As for myself, I do not believe I require any notes of praise of any kind. I am no glory hunter. As the team leader it was my honour and privilege to lead these people on a task that just may have changed the chances of our survival in the Gamma quadrant. And to pardon the coarseness of my words, it felt good to be kicking a little bad-guy ass again.

It is my hope you take this proposal into consideration,

    Yours Sincerely,

    Lt. Atticus Segami
