  1. Look I'm not saying it has to be low on action. Far from it. Hell It is Star Trek not Space Friend Hodown. What I'm worried at is the overall over-bombastic style at the end of it. Not as bad as a Matrix sequel trailer I know. It just slightly irked me. Loved the beginning though, the car-cliff-chase? Leading to Kirk as some snotnosed punk on an Earth halfway between not too far from the present day and the stars? Superb.

But like I said, still irked.

  2. I believe the creature will be created in a lab by scientists. The creature will bear the capacity for slight telepathy and will be able to put viewers into a mild hypnosis during the President's statements to the nation. It will also be perfectly bred as to still give that crucial "Awww" factor to those unaffected by the hypnosis. It shall truly be a creature of undiluted evil.

    ...Or a poodle, whatever. :)

  3. Aye and without him we would not have the book "Congo" and without that book we would not have the film and without the film we wouldn't have...

A)Crazy ass monkeys and guys in monkey suits

:) Tim Curry being told "stop eating my sesame cake!"

The sad part is I'm actually serious! God rest your soul, maker of complex and very technical science fiction novels that got turned into some of the greatest drinking game films of all time.
