  1. Karma blows antimatter, yes it does. Medusa Harper was a tough marine, and not a woman to be crossed. She also had a strict sense of duty, and the correct way to go about ones duties. Which explained why Kansas was stuck here, spearheading a security detail for a prick. The so-called prick was a few meters away from the Caitian, looking over a holographic display promoting new uses for anti-matter waste. Westler sneered as he watched the good-for-nothing woman behind him in the reflection of his glasses. They were useless, but none-the-less a statement for the doctor/scientist some called 'mentally touched.' The golden furred Caitian lieutenant commander quietly spoke into her wrist comm, checking with the security teams that she had roving along the perimeter; she dutifully ignored the scientist. But it was hard to ignore him when he was standing right behind you, which he was doing a few minutes. "How's everything looking, security..." He sneered. "The perimeter is secure." The feline intentionally left out any sort of rank designation, her tone was clipped and formal, and she did not look at the man. Westler shifted behind her, his breath playing on her fur. "That's it? Such a "well"-trained officer such as you has only this to say?" Kansas quickly turned around, backing away a step from the human. "Let me be clear, Commander Westler - I will serve as your protector here, but I am only here at the behest of my commanding officer. She seems to hold you in some regard, for whatever reason." "Ohh, feisty and snippy this one is. But there must be some caring in this one. She did risk her life to free my slave..." JoNs's tail had started to lash from side to side. "I freed your slave; it was no life for a sentient being, especially the last of her kind. Do not test me, sir." Westler grinned. "Oho, so you admit she was my slave! That does indeed say you acknowledge she was legally mine?" "You're prattling on with your legalese. As a scientist, you should know that the last one of any species should be free, not cooped up under some jerks whim and beck and call. You got paid off. Stuff it, Commander." In a huff, the Caitian security stalked off toward the perimeter established by the security detail. Westler frowned after the retreating form, and then shrugged. "Weakling..." He turned back to the display and studied some reading material. In the crowd, a lone woman moved in and out of the people. She was tall, long black hair and wore a black dress. She eyed her target, eventually making her way to him. "E…excuse me, Dr. Westler?" Aaron turned and looked at the woman. "Yes?" The woman looked at him, giving him a big smile for added measure. "Hi, I was wondering if I could talk with you about some of your theories." He smiled also. "I always have time to discuss science and theories with people who listen." "Excellent," she extended her hand to him. "I'm Angie." He met her hand with his. "Aaron, please." Angie smiled, "Ok, Aaron..." She looked around, smiling. Security must not have been as tight as she had thought. "Would you please take a look at something for me?" She began rifling through her purse. 'Damn it must have fell to the bottom.' Aaron smiled. "Take your time; we have a while before the next lecture..." JoNs stood a few feet away, watching over the hustle and bustle of the scientific conference. Her sharp gaze then wandered back over toward Westler and the dark haired woman he was currently engaged in conversation with. At last she found it. She wrapped her fingers around a hypospray, and was about to get it out when she looked over at an approaching figure. Shock came over her face as she recognized the person. "Oh no..." The feline balked, and then the shock passed as her leonine features contorted in controlled rage. She pulled her disrupter and aimed it straight at the AWOL officer formerly of the Agincourt. "Lieutenant Kassem, I hereby place you under arrest." Aaron looked from Kansas, to this Lt. Kassem, and scratched his head. "Hmm, not a family reunion I gather..." "Drop whatever you have there, or I will shoot your sorry ass Lieutenant." Westler looked at the black-haired woman. "I'd do what she says; she's nasty when she has a temper." "No!" Kairi pushed Aaron into the path of the disruptor, and then ran off. This was all wrong. The reports were wrong. No one was supposed to be here. Westler fell back into the display, breaking a rather expensive holoprojector and some PADDs, as well as the table, hitting his head on the wall. Kansas took off at a run, speaking into her wrist comm. "Perimeter team one, guard Westler. Three and two! Converge on vector one, now! Pursuit of a suspect..." The Caitian knelt on one knee, took aim and fired at Kairi's back. Fortunately Kairi had made it around the corner before the shot went off. She ran down an open hall, and through another corridor. Panic raced through her heart, her breathing picking up. One of the big human security guards with the detail had correctly surmised that the fleeing woman was the suspect in question; the dark haired man with a scar running the length of his jaw bore down on Kassem. Kairi heard the big man coming, and quickly ducked behind a corner. Once he was on her, she sprang at him, injecting the hypo into his neck, filling him with a fast acting poison. "That wasn't supposed to be for you," she cried out, a tear running down her face. The fugitive sprinted off again, leaving the guard to die. Kansas was still hot on her heels, leaping over the body of the dead guard without a backward glance and shoving some scientist out of her path. "Southwest corridor! Team Four, come in from the secondary perimeter...." Finding another corridor, one less congested, the rebel ran into it. As the crowd began to thin, she spotted another hallway. She took the turn, and came to a door at the end. Kairi quickly pressed the panel, but the door did nothing but beep as her. "Come on...Open!" she cried in frustration. Her tears were uncontrollable now. A low growl sounded in the corridor behind the former officer; Kansas had caught up to her, and she now glowered at her, slowly pacing toward the woman on all fours. Her body and facial expression was tight with anger. "We spent four days running security protocols, and engineering pulled round the chronometer shifts to undo the damage that you and worm boy did to cover your escape. You damn turncoat..." Kairi turned to face her pursuer. She wiped the tears from her face, her back to the door. "Stay away from me...Why couldn't you let me kill him?!” "Even if you succeeded, you wouldn't have gotten out of the building." The Caitian hissed at her. It was now or never. The fugitive threw her purse at the Cait, and tried to make another run for it to get past her. But she ran straight into Westler, who was walking up on the pair, hand to his head. JoNs merely batted the purse away, and the guards all covered the fugitive with disruptor pistols; she was going nowhere. Kairi tried swatting at Aaron as she made contact with him. "Let me go! You Imperial Murderer!" He rammed her up against the bulkhead, his free head holding her by the throat. "Next time, I'll break your neck first, woman. Then again, there won't be a next time..." He looked at Kansas. "So this is half of the sabotaging duo Medusa told me about.." Kairi gasped as she struggled to breathe. She tried digging her nails into his arm to try and get him to release. "Westler! Back off. She’s the property of Agincourt Imperial Security now...we take care of our own." A cold leer spread across the felines lion like features. He looked at Kansas, frowning. "First and last time I'll have you order me around, furry." He let go of Kairi, letting her drop to the floor." The rebel officer fell to her knees as she clasped her throat and began coughing. Westler grinned, and walked away. "I believe Medusa owes me a favor now.." "You don't have the authority Westler; this case is still open, with this one and her accomplice still at large.....she's mine." The feline called out to the retreating form of the commander. He waved. "Fine fine, whatever." JoNs merely snorted and instructed her guards to gather up the collapsed fugitive.
  2. Don't forget that the schedule is set to Eastern Standard Time. So times may be different depending on where you are from.
  3. Hiya! We actually have a schedule that we follow here. You can find that here. The academies are what you will want to get into, and once you graduate from the academies you can join an advanced sim. Here are a couple other things you will want to read: Help Tips from the Moose. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask anyone. We'll gladly help. Have fun! Hope to see you out there!
  4. The room was dark, with the exception of a dim light shining over a desk. At the desk sat a man with a pale green complexion and pointed ears. He was aged and wore a Romulan Galae uniform. An ISD rested in his hand, which he was intently reading. The room was quiet as he read, save for a low hum which indicated he was on board a ship. The silence was soon shattered by the sound of the door chime. The man looked to the door with a very stern expression, and spoke with a commanding voice. “Enter!” He didn’t like being disturbed. As the door opened a tall, slender Romulan woman stepped inside. She too wore a Galae uniform, and her straight black hair rested just off her shoulders. “Enarrain, here is my report.” The man’s expression quickly changed when he saw the young woman enter. He motioned her to his desk, placing the ISD he was reading in front of him. “Very good.” The woman stepped up to his desk, placing the report upon it. She caught a glance of the ISD. It had an image of a young human Starfleet Officer. Her expression instantly turned sour, as she picked up the device. It was a detailed report on Kairi Kassem. The woman instantly recognized the name. “Why are you bothering with this? Eneh, you could get into trouble.” The Romulan officer looked up at his younger counterpart and smiled. “I will be fine, Paenhe. That report is public knowledge, and anyone may access it.” Grinning, he tried to ease the young woman’s concerns. “Did you know she is an engineer just like you? Perhaps one day she will work her way up and become a chief just as you did.” The woman’s expression didn’t change. “I do not care. I remember the day you confessed to us about her. You nearly broke Mother’s heart, and mine…” “She understood, as should you.” He reached up taking the report of Kairi into his hands. “She is my paenhe, my blood, just as you are.” “But why are you concerned about this now? From what I saw in that report, she is living a good life in the Federation.” The young woman was still a little annoyed by the whole thing. “Because of this…” He said grabbing another ISD from his desk, handing it to her. The Romulan woman looked over the report. “The Agincourt? That name sounds familiar.” “It should, it’s the ship that aided in capturing the rogue Rihannsu that attacked Earth. It also happens to be the vessel that Kairi serves on.” A grim look came across his face. “And it has vanished.” “Vanished, how?” “My contacts tell me it was involved in a battle with some unknown ships, along with another Federation vessel. Apparently these ships can create subspace rifts in which they use to travel. The Agincourt pursued the unknown vessels into the rift and vanished. No one knows where it ended up, even the Federation.” The Romulan woman sighed softly. She was beginning to understand why he was worried. “Perhaps they are fine, and looking for a way to return as we speak. If Kairi is as talented and resourceful as you say she is, I am willing to bet she will make it.” A smile crossed the features of the older Romulan’s face, as he looked up to his paenhe. “I know she will…” Romulan Key: Enarrain - Captain Eneh - Father Paenhe - Daughter

    I saw on the news yesturday, a man getting tasered in front of his wife and toddler. The man wasn't violent, he was just walking back to his car. It was all caught on the policeman's patrol car camera. It was sad. :D
  6. hehe No dressing up tonight, but I'm going to a Halloween party this weekend instead. I still haven't decided what I wanna dress up as though. I did the sexy kitty thing last year. :)
  7. I decided to make one of these polls. Mainly out of bordom. :) What was your first Star Trek experience that you could remember? For me, it was watching Star Trek II on tv. I think that was my first time. I remember feeling so sad when Spock died, and I didn't even know who he was at the time.
  8. Sometimes it takes a long time. It took one of my applications over a month, I think. Something I did, and might suggest to you is to contact the GM's of the ship you want to join. Let them know you have an application out and are interested in joining. Sometimes they may be nice enough to let you go ahead and get started.
  9. Ooo...I have both of those. They are fun reads. ;) I just remembered the Player's Guide has a technobabble chart in it. I may have to use it sometime.
  10. It just depends on what you're really good at. A couple of my other characters are in other departments like science and medical, but my first love is engineering. Which btw, I could use a couple good engineers. Keep Agincourt in mind when you graduate. :D ::Insert Agincourt commercial here.:: As far as finding a place...Hmm...I kinda winged it. But I'm sure someone else has a place you could check out. ;)
  11. Kairi slowly entered main engineering. It was pretty quiet at the moment. They were in the middle of gamma shift. In her arms was a small box with various contents. The newly appointed chief made her way through the room and to a set of doors, her new office. Entering, Kairi looked around. Javin’s personal affects had already been moved, which was probably a good thing in her mind. It was hard enough that she was moving in, but it would have been tougher to have to go through his personal things. Setting the box on desk, she began to unpack. The box contained a couple pictures, one of which was of her and Javin. At the bottom of the box were a few PADDs she brought from her room, mostly containing projects she was working on. With everything now scattered on the desk, Kairi took a seat. How did she come to this point? She had always wanted to become chief engineer of a starship, but the circumstances of her promotion made her sad. It seemed recently that the only way to get a promotion on the Agincourt was to endure a loss. Loss of a captain, an entire ship, a mentor, a rival, a lover… Kairi thought on this for a while until she couldn’t think anymore. She simply laid her head on the desk and drifted off to sleep.
  12. Um...Are you saying redheads can't get dates?
  13. “Dinner Time” A joint log by Lieutenant Senior Grade Kairi Kassem and Lieutenant Junior Grade Aidan Driscol Edited by Aidan Finally there was time for Aidan to take a break, there wasn't anything he could do at the science station so someone else could take over for now. He was hungry enough to devour a buffalo, or at least a large steak. He looked over to Lieutenant Kassem as he made his way over to the turbo lift. "So, do you have time for a bite now? It doesn't look like we'll be needed here anytime soon." "Sure I'd like that," replied Kairi as she looked up at Aidan. The scientist was right, there wasn't much for them to do at the moment. This was the perfect time to grab something to eat. She soon joined him in the lift. Aidan smiled at his dinner companion. He didn't really know her as he had hardly ever worked with engineering. The only time he had talked to her before was in the gym in between trying not to assault the Chief of Security. When he entered the lift with her he ordered it to deck four and then looked at the doors. He hated being trapped in this thing with someone he didn't really know. "Well, as we agreed on not talking about work, how are you doing?" That was less than perfect but a start he supposed. Kairi smiled back at him. She could feel the tension he was giving off. Was he nervous? "I'm doing really well." She brushed some strands of hair behind her ear. "How are you?" He smiled and shook his head. "I can't complain, could do with more sleep, and food." As soon as the doors of the turbo lift opened he felt his confidence return. Yes, this was much better. He wasn't claustrophobic, it was more about personal space, or lack thereof. "After you, Lieutenant." She stepped out of the lift, waiting for Aidan to join her. "You don't have to call me Lieutenant. Please, call me Kairi." Aidan was by her side in two swift strides and smiled. "Kairi, beautiful name, I'm Aidan, or The Driscol as Shadow calls me." He quickly glanced back in the direction of the science labs which were down the corridor, thinking about all the work that was waiting there for him. But he pushed it from his mind as soon as he turned back to Kairi and together they headed for the mess hall. Kairi giggled as Aidan called himself The Driscol. "It must be fun hanging around Shadow all day." Her gaze also followed his towards the labs, though not for the same reason. She used to frequent those labs. But she soon left that thought behind. That was all in the past. It was time to move on. "Shadow and I have become friends, he sure helps me to see things from a new perspective. And he's very funny in his own way, the other day he was very upset because he thought food made us all mad, because I had said something or someone was driving me nuts." He saw Kairi's look down the corridor and he also caught that her gaze was lingering there slightly longer than his had been. She smiled as she glanced up at him. "Shadow has a very innocent outlook on existence. You should take him to the holodeck to see some classic movies sometime. I think he really enjoys that." At this Aidan raised an eyebrow and shortly stopped to let Kairi enter the mess hall before him. "I had no idea, I certainly shall do that. I happen to like those, too, but don't enjoy watching them all by myself. Shadow and I can go on a date." He chuckled at the thought. Kairi laughed as she entered the mess hall. Looking around, she spotted a perfect table near a window. "How about over there?" she asked as she pointed to the little table. "Wherever you want to sit, let's just get food first, I'm starving." He walked towards the replicators and heard his stomach rumbling with all the delicious smells of food around. She nodded as she followed Aidan. As she stepped to the replicator, she ordered a light caesar salad and a tea. After the food was prepared, Kairi took her seat at the table, waiting on Aidan before she began eating. Aidan chose a steak with fries, a small greek salad and ice tea and followed Kairi to her table of choice. As he sat down he looked at Kairi's food and laughed. "Are you trying to catch your dinner yourself with that? That's not food, that's food for food." Then he almost apologetically looked at his own food. "As you can tell, I'm indeed starving." Kairi giggled as she compared her plate to his. "I really wasn't that hungry," she grinned at him. "I just figured you'd rather have some company, instead of eating alone." Probing the salad with her fork, she finally took a bite. At this Aidan frowned. "Well, yes I do, but I didn't mean to trick you into eating with me or anything. I actually thought you were hungry, too." He started eating his fries, it felt like he hadn't eaten for days, and they were just perfect. "Oh no," she placed a hand on his and smiled to reassure him. "You didn't trick me into anything. I really wanted to come. It's a great moment to get to know you better." Aidan grinned. "Well feel free to steal any number of fries, I have yet to meet a woman who claims not to be hungry and actually not steal any of my fries. I hadn't realised you wanted to get to know me better, the first and only time we met I felt like knocking out your friend." Kairi grinned as she took Aidan's suggestion, stealing a fry. "I heard it all worked out though," she said as she popped the french fry into her mouth. "Oh, I certainly don't mind, it's just one more charming thing about women, to some extent that is." He was enjoying this, Kairi had a sense of humour. She smiled as she looked out the viewport. Hundreds of shining stars streaked by. "So beautiful..." Aidan looked out as well. "I have to admit, I probably see stars the way you see warp drives now. In parts, hardly ever in their entire beauty. And most of the time all I see is a bunch of readouts from the sensors anyway. What made someone like you become an engineer, you don't seem the type, if I may say so." Kairi moved her glance from the stars and into Aidan's eyes. "I don't really know. Ever since I was little, I had always been good at taking things apart. I guess I loved it so much I wanted to make a career out of it. How about you?" "My Dad's a marine, I've always been around Starfleet people. Almost became a marine myself, but I had always been a curious kid, like you, taking things apart, just not mechanically but mentally, you know what I mean?" "I do," she smiled back in reply. Thoughtfully Aidan put another fry in his mouth. "Apart from my years at the Academy I've pretty much been doing what I'm doing today. Running around some ship or other trying to solve problems. It's ironic that the Agincourt has become the closest to a home I've ever had. In a way I don't mind much being out here. New things all the time and all." "I don't think any of us would be here if we didn't like the idea of exploring." Kairi took a sip of tea as she continued to look at Aidan. She soon realised she may have been staring, so she glanced back out the viewport. "Very true. One might think you had never seen any stars, or am I that ugly?" He hoped she'd understand he was just teasing her, he just couldn't stop himself, one of the less attractive things about him he assumed. Kairi gave a playful pout as she realised she was caught. "Sorry..." "Nah, don't be sorry for not being able to ignore my stunning beauty." Aidan looked at the young woman sitting across from him and wondered about all the things she must have been through all of her life. It was obvious that she was half Romulan, then she got lost in the Perseus Arm with the rest of them and on top of everything the man she loved had died. Aidan admired how all of this hadn't made her bitter. She was very pleasant to be around with. She giggled a little, her cheeks blushing. She couldn't find the words to respond with. "Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you. It's just the way I am, some people call it cocky, those who really know me just call me a dork, because that's really all it is." "No it's alright. I'm used to it," replied Kairi. "I love it when people just be themselves. It's very appealing." She smiled at Aidan. He smiled back and started to wonder if Kairi was flirting with him. After all it had been a while since he had last had the chance to flirt with anybody, so by now he probably wouldn't recognise it if it bit him in the backside. After a moment he dismissed the thought, she was most likely just being nice. "Well, I love being myself." Kairi laughed at that last remark. "Alright, don't overdo it..." Aidan opened his mouth in mock shock. "Overdo it? Me? Never! So, are you done with your rabbit food?" She nodded as she looked down at her plate. "Yeah...Does that mean we have to go back to work?" She frowned. "I would hate to have Colonel Harper track us down, but how about we try out those classic movies in the holodeck before I ask Shadow to come with me? I mean, I would want things to go smoothly on my first date with him after all." Aidan would have loved to stay in the mess hall instead of going back to bridge duty, but this was no time for procrastination. Kairi giggled as she looked at Aidan once more. "I'd like that very much." Aidan slowly got up and took both of their empty plates. "Well, let me return these plates and I'll see you on the bridge in two minutes." He really had enjoyed himself he thought as he walked back to the replicators with the plates, he had a feeling that this might be the beginning of a wonderful friendship
  14. To try and answer a little more properly, the ships are run by official STSF GM's. New ships aren't made unless a need for a new one arrises and there are GM's willing to operate it.
  15. Hi! ^^ Oooo...Your sig is sparkly.
  16. Here are a couple examples of new races you could probably check out. Dameons (Look at Captain Corizon's bio under Excalibur.) Al-Ucards (Look at Victria, also under Excalibur.) Mithraans (Look at Daena's bio under Arcadia.) Those are a few of the new races that I know of. Maybe looking at them can help you decide whether or not you want to make your own.
  17. Also, just to chime in since I have created a new race (see Daena.) If the GM does allow you to create a new race, it needs to be detailed, and have some continuity to the Star Trek universe. It ranges from how it became a member of the Federation, to planetary history, and many smaller details. I've been a player for a couple years now, so I kinda know how things run. However, it may not be likely that a new player would get a new race approved fresh out of the academy. But this doesn't mean you shouldn't try. :P
  18. ::Hugs everyone:: (Yes you too, Sin.) Thank you! I've had a great day so far, but it's not over yet. :)
  19. NOOOOOOoooooo!!!!! ::faints::
  20. Yay! I love it when you have said notions.
  21. While I love all the shows, I have to support DS9. Mainly cause Captain Sisko is caught between his position with Starfleet and serving as the Emissary. But on top of that, he has to be a single parent in a strange environment lightyears from home. It just seems a little more "real" to me than the others. Not to mention, "The Visitor" is one of the greatest episodes ever. It made me cry...
  22. Kairi quietly sat upon Jamie Kroell's bed. She had broken into his quarters, using her engineering code. It was quiet in the room, save for the few sniffles coming from Kairi. Things hadn't been disturbed. None of Jamie's personal belongs have been packed and placed into storage yet. She looked around at the room, tears streaming from her eyes. A picture of her and Jamie rested in her hand. Unknown to the engineering lieutenant, passive alarms had been temporarily rigged since Jamie’s quarters had been sealed by security. A minor alert had been triggered in the offices, prompting the ensign on watch, Holt, to investigate. Arriving at the quarters, the young officer did a tricorder scan from the corridor; once the device had registered one of the senior Lieutenants inside, he had opted for discretion - letting his chief delve into the situation. Coming straight from the holo research program she had been conducting with Lt. Black-Knight, Kansas was highly cautious as she stepped inside the quarters. Kairi barely noticed the door open. She was entranced in her own little world. Finally looking up, the crying woman saw the Caitian standing in the doorway. JoNs remained where she was, one paw resting on the door jam and her feline form half obscured by shadows and backlit by the corridor lighting. After several moments had passed, the Caitian spoke gently. "Kairi? I know that nothing official has been sent out, but you know that these quarters are temporarily off limits." "How long have you been standing there?" the engineer said wiping away her tears. "Not long." JoNs moved farther into the darkened quarters. "What's going on here?" Her tone was still gentle, with the usual undercurrent of purring. "I...I just felt like I needed to be here." The Caitian sat down on a nearby chair off to the side of the bed. "That must have been some need. You used classified bypass coding to bre...er...gain access to Jamie’s quarters." The statement held no recriminations, no anger. "I'm sorry," Kairi said as she lowered her head. The lieutenant commander waved a paw and smiled. "No worries. In fact, I may have need of that particular engineering skill of yours at some point in the future." Then the smile disappeared. "What is going on Kairi? This isn't an interrogation, but I'm not exactly asking a rhetorical question either." "I miss him, Kansas." The Caitian’s ears drooped in sorrow. "I know you do." Tears began to fall once more as Kairi looked down at the picture. "I was so happy when I was with him. I had never felt like that in my life." A single tear struck the image in her hand. "I loved him..." The security officer froze. Tactical engagements - check. Dangerous missions - check. Going undercover with a pain in the ass Bajoran - check. She had it all covered, no problems. How to handle crying? Note to self: suggest course corrections to the Fleet Academy. With feline grace, Kansas moved from the chair to the bed, gently sitting down next to Kairi. She placed her arm around the engineer, a warm furred paw resting on her shoulder. She didn't say anything, but increased her purring. Kairi immediately gripped the Caitian in a big hug. Burying her head in Kansas's fur, she cried. Kansas let Kairi cry herself out, ignoring a comm badge beep at one point. Gasping abruptly, the engineer broke the hold as she moaned slightly. "I...I'm sorry. I haven't been feeling good lately." The felinoid let her break away, but didn't relinquish all of the control; she kept one paw gently but firmly on the woman's arm, studying her tear streaked face. "If you are feeling unwell, I think a trip to the sickbay is a good idea." It was a suggestion, but there was a slight undercurrent of worry. "I tried going once, but they were busy. I've just been a little tired the past couple of days. I've probably been overworking myself lately." "Kairi, take it from me, since taking on the security chief position I have been a princess of overworked freaked outness - it's not worth it. Just go get checked out." Kairi placed her free hand on her stomach, rubbing it slightly to soothe it. "I will...But first, can I stay here a little while longer?" Kansas sensed that it was time for her to go, and that she would have a difficult time getting the conversation to move forward. She stood. "Aye, it’s not a problem if you want to stay for a little bit. Just promise me you won't, ah, break in again? Incidents like this tend to make us barnacles nervous." Smiling faintly, the engineer nodded. "I promise." Kansas lingered in the doorway for a moment, looking back at Kairi with an unsure expression. Finally, she nodded and offered a small smile of encouragement before turning and exiting the quarters, leaving the engineer to her thoughts and inner demons. After the door closed, Kairi laid back on the bed. As she rested there, her eyes slowly became heavy and she drifted of into sleep.
  23. ::hugs:: Yay! Happy Birthday!
  24. Sadly you would not be able to get drunk off this rule. The quote "Beam me up, Scotty," was never actually said in the entire TOS series. The closest the is "Scotty, beam me up," from one of the movies (4 I think?) :lol: I only bring this up, cause I just recently read this. I think from one of the articles someone else posted here on the board.
