  1. I kinda liked the blue/teal color type on the original navigation page so I selected that as my color. I hope this is easy on the eyes. I was wondering if the signature box color can be changed via editing my options? Having a little trouble reading mine! Thanks! Precip
  2. Welcome to the Fun! Cya at the academies! Ensign Precip
  3. Ahh...Thanks for that quote..I need to learn how cut and paste on this board! I wish "Legend of the Rangers" would of been picked up as well, despite some gripes I had with the show's distancing itself from what was going on at B5. For a pilot it had promise. Sux... :( What would of happened if Ivonava was in command of Voyager? Hmm.... Precip
  4. Most likely it was the same USS Hood in "Encounter at Farpoint" and "Tin Man", NCC-42296 an Excelsior class vessel. Curious if the Original USS Hood survived the M-5 computer experiment in "The Ultimate Computer" from TOS? If I were simming on the Hood...I would avoid the Enterprise at all costs! Precip
  5. Hello all, This is a request you have heard before, but we still need your help! I am not a GM, but I think I can honestly say academy sims run better with more particpants. As mentioned by GMs in after sim notices, people who have long since graduated Academy can still particpate! With that in mind, if we can get a few more simmers on SUNDAY NIGHTs that would be great! Laura and Rock are doing their best, and as a weekly particpant in these Sunday night academy sims..they can bring good sims to the table. So please, if you have nothing to do on Sunday Nights around...visit the academy and have fun with new and older simmers alike! Ens_Precip :)
  6. Well ya got one West Coast simmer here to help you out. Oddly STSF provides me the only sims I can particpate in! ::does a West Coast gangsta hand gesture:: Wish I could help you GM...but I am not at that level yet! Precip
  7. Perhaps you are right RC, Given most people live in the Eastern Part of the US..this sim time is a bit late for them true. However being on the west coast..I couldnt make your proposed time. sorry! Ens_Precip
  8. Hiya all, Just curious since I will be posting on here a bit, if someone could direct me to where I can get a UFP or Feddie symbol Avatar. I don't know the web too well (lack my own page), any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks Ens Precip USS Manticore
  9. Based on my previous simming experience, we have had other species not normally associated with the UFP assigned to Starships as part of an exchange program. (Kinda of how Kurn met Worf, and Riker served on a BOP on TNG). Of course I must agree with the Administrator, all posting should agree with the GM's (CO/XO's) take on the sim involved. Ensign Precip :)
  10. Just to point out another option Garnoopy, we can command our own vessels during free time. Heh..I'm guilty of commanding a Romulan Warbird during freesim. As for the Nebula class kidding..bah! One of the most versatile Starfleet designs ever. Primarily because of that convient Pod above and to the rear the saucer. The Nebula Class arguably was suceeded by the Akira Class Starship...It combines the Nebula's versatility with enhanced performance..and a fearsome weapons/fighter complement. Not a ship to be tangled with..(unless you are one well equipped Vorta) Despite my obvious love of Starships I admit..and this is a slight deviation from the thread here...characters drive ships..not the ships themselves. But I do agree..some new vessels/sims perhaps created be laid down by the STSF team. :) Just a funny face..since I havent a clue to do avatars!
  11. Just letting ya'll know that I'd like to Give the Manticore a Try on Monday. This appears to be the only ship I can join given my work schedule. I noticed 3 positions were available...a science officer and two security/pilot personel postions. I probably would sim the later better. Given the craft mentioned are non-canon...might take me a while to get used to them. Also I noticed non-canon material mentioned in bios. I think the best thing to do is just describe him as the new guy....so he wont know every detail about the illustrious crew of the Manicore. Precip
