This might be a little long, but I wanted to make a discussion about the last episode. Some things that I noticed: I thought that while it did touch on the TNG crew a little much, it really made a connection between the events of the 21st and 23rd centuries. Who new Brent Spiner would make a special voice appearance? Sad to see Commander Tucker go... By setting this episode 10 years in the future...A resurrection of the series, could possibly happen...although, we all know how positively unlikely that is. Those are just some things to start a conversation. I think we'd all like to hear everyone's opinion. Mr. Smith

I think most of us will agree that "All good things..." was one of the best finales ever. I think that's because after not having Trek for so long, people felt at home with the TNG crew. One important thing about "These are the Voyages..." is that it shows just how important all the missions we've seen over the last four years are. We hear Counselor Troi talk about how she had to memorize the speech in grammar school. We see how the federation was basically peiced together with the mission against the Romulans. (I honestly didn't realize that was how Shran "died" until now...silly me.) The episode FIRMLY established Enterprise right in the middle of all the Star Trek lore. It now might be debatable, that Jonathan Archer is the greatest, most well-known Captain in Starfleet history...over Kirk or Picard. It's going to be interesting to see where Star Trek goes from here.

So Grom... If you guys ever do have that Grom, Jr., would you push him/her to be trek fan as he grows up. Hopefully there'll be a new series to watch with 'em. Smith

Has anyone noticed that "Rear Admiral Moose" has been added to the GM Council? I didn't see any announcement, so it was wierd when I saw another name on the council. Smith

Doctor Brian Smith walked onto the Bridge. After spending two years on the ship and only coming to the bridge once, he had now been on the bridge for two hours discussing his theories with the Captain. Brian walked over to one of the science consoles and sat down, reading the current status of the probe. It had just been launched seconds ago. He then focused his attention to the screen. Smith watched as the probe slowly appeared to move towards the ship. Right as it would have crashed into the ship, it appeared to penetrate some kind of shielding field, much like the shields of Reaent herself. Brian was astonished.The probe had literally vanished into thin air. He looked around the bridge to see many puzzled looks. Not long after disappearing, the probe suddenly returned to the viewscreen. Brian returned his sights back to the console and began to look for a readout on the "ship". There was nothing. After the probe arrived back at the ship, the bridge crew waited for any answers from the science technicians and engineers, who had been advised of the situation. --- Ensign Pierre La Toque was in his quarters still unpacking his belongings from his suitcases. Having just arrived to the Reaent hours before, the Assistant Science Officer was looking forward to a few hours of rest and to getting to know his way around the ship. Just then, Pierre's comm-badge went off. "Ensign La Toque to the Bridge" it said. It was the voice of Pierre's new Science Chief, a Lt. Smith. "Sure, sir. On my way" he repled, heading out to the turbolift. A few minutes later, Pierre arrived onto the brdge and walked to a console. He was told to work on something about a probe, and did so for about a half hour. "What have you got, Ensign?", replied Smith. Pierre turned to his chief. "Well, that's actually what I was going to talk to you about. The probe was sent back to the ship. There's just one problem." replied Ensign La Toque. "I'm waiting...", butted Smith. "There's nothing inside" said La Toque ignoring the interruption. " All the systems but propulsion and guidance are gone. We have no readouts whatsoever." The new Science Officer said. Pierre remained quite puzzled as to the absence of the probe's vital internal mechanics. "I Haven't the slightest clue as to why this is so" he replied honestly. "I guess we work together as to finding out what happened to it" Pierre shrugged and sighed deeply. Not really wanting to have been thrust into such a complicated assignment on his first day, but what can you do?

You know...the amount of attendance amazes me...I mean...who'd really want to spend a whole weekend with Fred, Atragon and the rest of the GM's... <_<

Wouldn't it be interesting if we're all sitting down watching 'These are the Voyages...' and they say, "The Episode will not be shown tonight, as in a breaking development, Enterprise has been renewed for another season. Please tune to _____ to continue viewing the series." I think we'd all keel over and die!

I think it might be interesting to do a show about say the S.C.E. The Starfleet Corps of Engineers could do alot of things. Another idea is say...have an event like voyager that kills the entire senior staff of a ship, and a new group of young kids have to take over until replacements are arrived. There is tons of character development that could happen. These would be people with only 2 or 3 years experience running the ship... I think we could go on and on about ideas...All that matters, is what they decide will please us fans the most. My 10 cents, Dr. Smith

I think it took me 9 or 10. I think the GM's have a very keen sense of who is ready to graduate. For me it was when I least expected it...I've told my graduation story a million times...but I'll tell it again... I was CSEC in Dac and Atragon's Wednesday Academy... We had a mission involving some ambassador...My job was to keep the ambassador safe...One of her assistants ends up shooting her in Main Engineering...Regardless...I did keep her off of Dac's bridge, and to my suprise I graduated. I found my self on Reaent, my lone sim, and I wouldn't trade it for any other ship. The biggest advice for a new simmer that I can offer is to not create a character to early. The idea of the academy is for you to get a feel for the different positions and even to experiment as being different races...So I would wait till I got onto an advanced sim (In what ever position) to decide what kind of race you're going to bring to life. At the beginning of the season I thought...eh...last season if you missed more than 1 or two episodes, you missed alot of the story behind later events...But I think it was working this season. After watching last night's show, I don't know how the ratings were so poor. After reading the Startrek.com production report and knowing a little about what happened, I was still suprised by some of the things that happened. Shran's breakdown with the Tellarite's and the blood, the ship cloaking as Enterprise (although it was very predictable) and destroying the Rigelian ship, and when the Aenar crewman was revealed at the end of the show...I was puzzled when I saw what appeared to me as an andorian, and then I came back to ST.com and I saw "The Aenar" and I remembered. And then there was the preview for next week... Of course when I went to the Episode Listing, there was the thing we all expected... Written by: Andre Bormanis (Teleplay), Manny Coto (Story) It seems like the greatest Enterprise episodes really have been the ones where Berman and Braga have no hands in the Writing...They're good at being producers (we must admit they did a pretty good job at casting and all the behind the scenes stuff in the beginning), but they've run out of ideas for compelling shows. If the show is done right, they can win back many of the original TOS fans, and I think the only way to do that is to give over the control to fans like Manny Coto. So...Let's finish watching this season...and push for three more. Dr. Smith

Cadet Fourth Class Jonathan Swane entered the medical labs on Molokai Station. He was at the top of his class at Starfleet Medical Academy. He had been granted the internship of a lifetime that would, hopefully, turn into a full time job once he graduated from the academy. But It wasn't just that. Jonathan's grandfather had died from Calkins disease. Finding some kind of cure would be special to him. He had heard stories of the pain and suffering that his grandfather had gone through, and he wished it on nobody else. It was this passion for searching for a cure that had ultimately lead to him entering medical school, and getting him to where he is. He had overheard some of the doctors talking about a "Special Patient" that was being transfered to Molokai. This would be his first real chance to see Calkins disease in action. Not a good thing, but a chance for him to do some research and make a contribution to the continuing effort that was happening at Molokai and other stations around the Federation. While he was on the station, Jonathan was going to be under the direction and 'care' of a Dr. Myra Donatelli. She was going to be leading the team studying this "Special Patient". Many of the people assigned to the team were of all ages, sizes and species. This was a rare chance for starfleet scientists, and they weren't going to blow it. John entered the lab and sat down at the table with the rest of the doctors, most of which were old enough to be one of his parents. Dr. Donatelli was about to start a briefing about just how "special" this new patient was going to be.

I've been pulled deeper into the Trek world. The "A time to..." series is very good. I have all the books that are out right now. The ones I've read: A Time to Be Born A Time to Die A Time to Sow A Time to Harvest Ones I've got (Not read yet): A Time to Love A Time to Hate Ones not out yet: A Time to Kill A Time to Heall A Time for War, A Time for Peace You'll notice that each story (except for the final book) runs across two books, with the titles being opposites. It's a good series that explores the events between Insurrection and Nemesis, dealing with everything including: Wesley and his adventures as a traveler Beverly and her career Will and Deanna's marriage Data and his emotion chip Just my 2 cents Dr. Smith

I think they all have something unique about them. But I think Vex's sends all the messages we're trying to accomplish: Our name the fact that we sim on computers (the keys) and it also has a Trek Logo. One change would be to make the Trek logo take over the entire key...Still good Both my cents, Smith

I definitely saw it...I was going to post something up here, but decided against it...anyhow...Even if Enterprise does run off the air, it won't be the last time we see a series...We can definitely be sure of that. But nonetheless, we've got to keep watching, so the series will survive! Smith

A while ago they did an advertisement for DS9 and TNG on Fridays. They shoewed Picard and said something catchy, and then they said something similar about Sisko...I think that is what it is. I believe the clip from Sisko is when he tells someone (forgot who...) "Every time I close my eyes, I see her!"... I think that's what it was, but even I only vaguely remmeber it...
