With her father a member of the Betazed government, her family moved around the galaxy quite often. Taking many trips to different planets that influnced Nevaeh's upbringing in a wonderful way. At an early age, 12-Earth-years-old, Nevaeh developed her telepathy powers. Usually developing at age 15 or 16 for Betazoids, Nevaeh's gift was realized, and trained. She went into some of the top telepathy schooling, focusing her powers in the medical field. When Nevaeh was 17 years old, she traveled to Earth with her father and mother on official Betazed government business with Starfleet. She fell in love with San Francisco and Starfleet Academy, and enrolled in the academy focusing on medical practices. She graduated with full honors four years later. The USS Manticore is her first assignment, and she is ship's counselor, a position that her and her family are proud of. She loves interacting with the crew and traveling through space.
