  1. Mission Brief: The USS Milan (Ambassador-class) has intercepted a distress signal from the civilian transport Kobalis. Upon arrival, the Kobalis is found to be heavily damaged, while a vessel of unknown configuration sits nearby." 020206.txt
  2. As of the moment, there is no profit for myself in opperating the Excalibur CafePress shop. I know Manticore used to have one, (I'll let A-9 cover that.) And [shameless plug] we just added fun new items! Be sure and check them out! [/shameless plug]
  3. Today's Birthdays Active Users 5 members are celebrating their birthday today Vectra Meriva(25), Seiben(25), Sergio Giovanni(25), STSF Seiben(25), Zafira Terios(25) ::snickers:: Happy Birthday Hansel!
  4. Well I think there is a generally understood set of rules to follow online gaming, we enforce them here. However for the particular genre being discussed here, I still think there is a similiar set of rules that dictate behavior. I think that such hazing, (a la killing nOObs) is kind of funny [coming from the ye old killer of cadets]. However, flaming is just retarded. And flaming back, you make yourself look just as stupid.
  5. As Official God of Chaos, I do delcare... Cool!
  6. Just a reminder. PLEASE do not post personal pictures or information about another player unless you have permission from them. And just a word of advice, remember to be very careful about posting RL information about yourself on the internet. Thanks.
  7. How about we try and keep the topic...on topic, eh?
  8. My other sign is the Ox! And yes Garnoopy, I think it's entirely possible that people mold their days to their horoscopes.
  9. I enjoyed it for Jessica Simpson. :P
  10. Virgo: Analytical, rational, fair, methodical, talented, planner, hardworking, discriminating, tasteful, motivated, reserved, intelligent, creative, orderly, structured, but can be critical, rigid, sarcastic, snobbish, narrow-minded,
  11. It's generally mumbo jumbo, though I do share some charateristics with my sign; my sign being Virgo.
  12. http://www.bethsoft.com/news/pressrelease_012406.htm New Trek Games! Yay!
  13. ::quitely places his bribe under Blu's door remembering his payment is due::
  14. And for the record, the Record for #Acadmies before Graduating is something like 159, and hasn't even been touched here  Further, just as a reminder, one has to have served six months as a Lt. Cmdr to become eligble to become a Game Master, however, not everyone applies as soon as they become a GM, because for whatever reason, they may not want to become a GM. That and not everyone who applies becomes a GM. Anyway, welcome back.
  15. We got Bill Cowher Power runnin' the show, Got a 36-Speed Bus ready to go! Wave Terrible Towels of Black and Gold, 'cause PITTSBURGH'S GOIN' TO THE SUPER BOWL! Wave Terrible Towels of Black and Gold, 'cause PITTSBURGH'S GOIN' TO THE Super BOWL!
  16. ::Grins:: You know, I didn't start the cadet killing mele. I actually think Blu holds the record for most "ACTION> BOOM." sims in a row (although Dac I think is also close). Though for the record, I don't always kill the cadets. Maiming can sometimes be more fun! Anywho, Welcome to the Forum!
  17. I think that the pictures have a better claim to copyright claim than mp3's or software. Mostly because I don't think software is really the same intellectual property rights as opposed to creations of art etc. but that's just me.
  18. Okay, depending on what you're pirating. The music I pirate, I am not going to pay for it anyway, so no one is losing anything, and most of the software I pirate, probbably the same. Now from a legal point of view, it's a little more complicated and I can launch into the whole thing. But basically I don't have a problem with it.
  19. If Tampa makes the Super Bowl, I'll swear not to kill cadets for a month!
  20. Following my own advice, I've avoided posting much on this topic. But here goes. The Patriot Act, in general, is a bad idea. It fundamentally restricts the very rights that it presumes to restrict, and that is not protecting. That said, I think some of the parts of the Act are indeed okay, but for the most part it is a far over reach on the part of the Federal Government, particularly on the part of the Executive Branch. I can go on for pages about the Patriot Act, but I doubt I'd say anything that has not already been said, so I'll stop there on that subject. On the subject og globalization, I don't think it has very much to do with the Patriot Act. "Governments" have a duty to watch for these so called "radical" groups that protest trade conferences, because they have a fundamental right to protect the safety of those involved in the conferences, and they're allowed to do this so long as they do so with in the bounds of the law. Globalization has had negative effects, but on the whole has done quite bit. However, by simply limiting what you call globalization to economic corpratism, you're missing the larger picture. Which of course let's me say, try and keep the topic at least somewhat on topic, which is about the validity of the Patriot Act. Secondly, everyone, please please, try and remain calm and civil while discussing it. Thank you and have a nice day.
  21. I personally think, that in the interest of fairness the panel should be composed of mostly hosts. Just my two cents.
  22. Ah yes, they would be slightly less effecient than AM/M drives, but they don't require D-crystals to create, something Romulans don't have just laying around (unless you allow Nemesis, which sorta makes you wonder why they'd go to all the trouble of creating AQS, no?)
  23. I might actually be closer to Wimbley than A9...depending on where in NOVA he's at...
  24. Nah, Keyshwan went their because he likes Parcells and get's along with him. TO would last about ten seconds with the Tuna before he killed him, which might not be a bad thing....
  25. Well then Blue Star, be sure and check out: Getting Started
