Log 005 ; Shore Leave - Part 1 Stardate 50302.22 Dr. Kyle Mills **RECORDED WHILE IN SICKBAY, SETTING UP THE FISH TANK** Not much to report today. It started off as a normal day, and went on as a normal day . With Smith begging Dr. Matthews for a fish tank to put in sickbay, to someone comming in and asking for crickets. I started to pace around the room , due to the severe Boredness. And suddenly I felt dizzzzzzy, and I would of fell to the floor if it wouldnt have been for the biobed that I held onto , until Smith , and Matthews helped me up. They came to my immediate attention. And began to run scans on me. I had contracted "Low Sugar" . Which I have obtained from not eating over the last week.I just havent felt the urge to eat. I administered some hypoglycemia to make the headaches , and sick stomach stop. Hertz has got us all a fish, I am not quiet sure what there names are, but I am sure that mine's name is George. We are prepairing to leave for the StarBase again, so I must end this log here, and now. **Taps Panels, and sticks the isolinear chip in his pocked**

Dr. Kyle Mills Duty Log Star Date 50302.14 log 004 **RECORDED ON PADD , WHILE EN ROUTE TO SHIP** Today the away team and I finished up on the planet. The organisms that were there were very interesting, expecially the blob of slime. I sent some information up to Deb for her to do further scans on. The results were not that impresive.. It seems that it was just a big glob of ... slime... It was not at all complex, nor interesting. So I informed the doctor that there was no need for any more Analysis. For the remainder of the Mission , i just scanned around , and looked for anything unusual. I fount some interesting things that I will review when I get back to the ship.. We were sent back into the chyro chamber to run more scans , when suddenly a GIANT blob or slime enveloped Mr. Sivuk. I ran to the scene and found that it had just came through the Control Station, how i dont know. I began to scan mr. sivuk and the slime.. I found something interesting when i began to scan it. The blob of slime was ALOT more complex than the one i scaned before. So complex that my medical tricorder couldnt give me accurate readings. Voran offered me his tricorder to scan the blob. I began to scan it immediatly. It was amazing.. Its cells were regenerating at a miraculas level. But Vorans tricorder did not do much better than my medical one.. I sent the information back to the ship , for closer analysis. Within a couple of minutes , Deb got back to me with an answer.. She said that this blob was alot more complex than I had thought. Seeing that my tricorder could not display accurate information , i do not know how much more complex.. I informed the doctor , that she could fill me in when i returned to the ship, because Sivuk had just engaged in a "Mind Meld" with the being. If things would of been going so fast i would of informed him not to do it , but he had allready started retreving information from it. What kind of information , i do not know , since i was busy checking on his health. After he had disconnected from the blob of slime , which just went through the wall (Once again i am stuned how it traveled throught solid objects) his hand began to Regenerate !.... It began to look Younger , and Younger.. I scaned his hand very intensivly. My scans reviled that when mr. sivuk touched the blob , his hand had been exposed to the regeneration effects of the slime.. It stopped regenerating , and his hand looked like it was not a day old. It was just like an infants hand. The scars the wrinkles , EVERYTHING was gone... This was amazing! I had never seen anything like that before. The captain felt that we shouldnt stay there anymore. So we all packed our equipment , and headed to the runabout. We are now on the way to the ship. I will conclude the findings of the advanced blob of slime , when I get the information my self.. ** TAPS PADD, AND PUTS IT IN HIS POCKET**

Dr.Kyle Mills Duty Log Stardate : 50302.07 **Recorded from PADD en route to shuttle bay** Today I finished up care on Kroells. I found the cure for his Andronesian Encephalitis. IT was quiet simple , as a matter of fact. It is a good thing that he didnt get into "Direct Contact" (meaning have touched it or it touched him) or he could of had more severy symptoms. I have been summoned to the shuttle bay for away team duty.I suppose that we are going back down to finish up this mission. There is a new doctor onboard, Mr. Smith, he is an old friend of mine from the academy. But ill tell more about that in my personal Log. **End Log**

Dr. Kyle Mills (Ens) Personal Log Log 002 Stardate - 50301.31 *Computer Begin Recording* (Also Recorded From Sickbay) Today was when i really got to test my medical ability. The away team returned from the planet, and i got to put them through decon !! There was no one that was seriously injured. But kroells got a disease of some sort. He is in stable condition , but we are still working on a cure for him. I have been in sickbay ALL day.. Dr. Matthews is a great doc. She has the experience and dedication of a fully blooded CMO.. ::Laughs Slightly:: I belive that kroells will be allrigh. With doctors like me and matthews, he couldnt be in any better hands.. ::Laughs again :: I still havent got to meet any more of the crew. But i have realized what this ship has to offer. With a fine crew, and a good capin, i couldnt ask for anything better!!!!! I dont have anymore time to talk, I have to get back to work on finding a cure for kroells!!! * Computer End Recording *

Dr. Kyle Mills (ens) Duty Log Log 002 *Computer Begin Recording* (recorded from sickbay) Today was a hectic day. I arrived in Shuttle Bay to find out that the away was back from the mission on the planet . It was very hectic at first , with everyone wanting to get back to there station. I ran scans to make sure that everyone was allright , and that they didnt have any possibility of being contaminated.. They were all okay, besides kroells . He had been very close to a chryo chamber , and we thought he could of picked up a disease, or virsus of someosort. We Were Right . After getting him stable . ( He had a falling - blood pressure , pulse rate , and white blood cell level) We began to run some more extinsive scans , and we found something interesting in a blood sample that was collected from him.. He had a disease very similar to "Andronesian Encephalits" Which I assume he got from being around the chryo unit. It is transmitted by airborne particles . After reporing to Dr. Matthews , we began to work on a cure. The medications that we have tested have been so far, Unsucessfull, We are continuing to work on a cure. The other members of the away team seem allright, i assume that they werent exposed to the airborne particles that kroells encountered. They required little , or no medical attention. I believe that kroells will fully recover , If we get the antidote to the disease he has contracted . *Computer End Recording*
