  1. Sitting at the Klingon influenced table in his quarters Mr. Pilot drinks a raktajino looking over a few padds. "Computer, check inbox messages. Authorization Pilot-Alpha-1-Alpha." The computer replies, "You have 3 unheard communiques." Pilot sat his raktajino down and moved to the computer on his desk and activated the first message. The message recording: EJ this is your mother..How are you doing? I haven't been receiving my regular communiques that you usually send. Are you okay? Please make sure you reply back. I want to make sure my son is okay. Your father is well, as am I. <End Communique> Pilot pondered for a moment and remembered he had not sent a message to his parents after he was recovered from the Oppo planet. He of course wouldn't be able to tell his mom about the mission he was a Black Ops officer of course, he wasn't sure if she knew that. However, she probably figured with the silence I was more than likely in some type of Special Ops program in Starfleet. He turned back to the computer and played the second message. The message recording #2: Son, this is your father. You haven't contacted us its going on 6 days now. You usually don't ever go this long without contacting us. I know I never worry but this isn't like you. Contact us soon. Qapla'. <End Communique> Pilot now thinking that his parents are probably furious because they are probably scared out of their wits. They both know the dangers of wearing this uniform. However, a parent will always worry regardless the knowledge possessed about the matter. Pilot played the next communique. The message recording #3: By the word of Kahless, if I find out you've been seriously hurt I will have that CO of yours beaten till he is in as much pain as you are, if you are in any pain. Son, may Kahless protect you on your missions and bring you back. I would hate for your mother's heart to be broken because her only son of Solern was KIA during a mission. I hope you reply soon son. <End Communique> Pilot looked at his screen he quickly hit the reply button and gave his parents a detailed explanation without giving too much mission detail. He hoped this would be sufficient for them. They didn't know he was on a Black Ops ship, at least he didn't think they did. Pilot sat back to his raktajino and starting drinking it again. I need to take it easy, probably should delegate these tasks to other engineers. Pilot taps onto his console comm, "Pilot to Lieutenant (JG) Cashington, your assistance is required for engineering tasks. I am forwarding the tasks to your inbox copy to padd and complete, that is an order. Pilot out." Pilot for the first time delegated a task I am sure his superiors won't mind this time. He finished the drink and put it in the recycler. "I wonder what happened to the Admiral and is he still indeed our CO? I will find out sooner or later."
  2. Pilot sat on the Chimera nodding in and out as he couldn’t sleep. He understood completely what Jami did. She didn’t want to leave Lowren behind. He wouldn’t either. But she lied to the Admiral about the communiqué being filled with static and then had one of his engineering comrades place real static into the message. If Admiral Atragon asked what really happened, he would be obligated to tell him. He would tell him in the interest of Lowren’s life and if we had left her that she might have been found dead if we waited too long. But as we all know disobeying the direct order of a superior officer is numero uno on the “Things you don’t do to tick off your outranking officers” Pilot knew the admiral and commander were married, but this went beyond their marriage. They are husband and wife, but he is also the CO of the USS Manticore. He has been given 400+ lives to protect while they serve on this ship. He just wants to make sure everything is okay and that is why he is issued the return call. Pilot was pretty sure he would have understood the reasoning for staying if it were explained in more convincing way. I just hope he wouldn’t get a reprimand for this. Pilot just hoped Jami knew what she was doing.
  3. A Day’s Work… Stardate: 200807.21 The equipment shocks Asst. Engineer Pilot still working on the equipment in the medical bay. “Ahh! For the love of Kahless!” Pilot screams, grabs a device from his tool kit and scans the medical equipment. “Godd-mnit!” he said in a angry tone. Pilot pulled out a chip and swapped out the old for the new. Pilot replaces the protective lid over the device, and then puts his tools away. Pilot moved out of Sickbay clicking on his padd that the job was complete *(Sending a message to Kyle Mele, M.D. to inform his repair was complete.)* Pilot hops onto the next Turbolift and heads back to Engineering to check in and check for other repair orders.
  4. Pilot on break from his shift, sat in his quarters just thinking. “Computer, begin log for stardate 200805.12.” The computer replies with an acknowledging beep from its sound buffers. “As I begin my career aboard the starship Manticore I have ran into some unusual characters. Like one of our doctor’s, for instance, he tells me he cannot find his regular physical equipment, so he has to use antique medical equipment. I believe after all this time not a single person should be using old antique medical equipment. After all the effort and time that was been spent in developing our now, advanced technology. You should be using it. Also if your equipment is damaged you need to file a report with Engineering to get it repaired, or file a report with the Ops Manager to have it put on the list when we do another Supply run at the nearest Starbase.” Pilot placed the log entry on pause for a moment to get a drink from the replicator, “Cranberry juice please.” The cranberry materializes on the replicator pad and Pilot grasps it in his hand tightly, like a snake coiling around its prey. He then takes a nice, cooling, refreshing sip from the glass and places it on the table next to him. “Computer, resume log entry 200805.12.” The computer acknowledged and Pilot continued recording. “Another unusual crewmate of mine is one of our security officers. Not to say that our fine Chief Security Officer isn’t handling his business, because he is. However, this security officer, I believe whose name was Kansas. I could not believe the nerve of her, she actually said she would turn me into a pretzel. During that whole physical I got ridiculed by her. She says, “Well maybe he’s a Changelling.” Really, I am ½ Klingon and ½ Human, there is nothing changeling about me. In addition, if I were a changeling why would I make myself look like half of something? However, I think this was all a ploy for the medical and security officer(s) to have a laugh at my expense. Nevertheless, remember Engineering is the folks you call to come fix your broken toys. Why would you prank one of their officers?” Pilot stops and says to the computer, “End log and save.” Pilot then takes a look at the time. “Hmm 15 more minutes.” Pilot takes a nice long finishing off sip of his cranberry juice, moving the empty glass to the recycler and heads out of his quarters back to the Engineering. <End Log.>

In California, The Pilot Family had a beautiful home. Pilot's father was an Asst. Engineer for Starfleet HQ & Medical. Mr. Pilot's mother was a Senior Member of Planetary Defense for Sector 001 (Earth). His father had a rank of Lieutenant pushing Lieutenant Commander eventually. Pilot's mother was rank of Commander hoping to become a Captain one day. Commissioned Starfleet Officers, his parents to be exact, surrounded Pilot. Through observation of his parents, Pilot had decided that, eventually he would like to join Starfleet Academy. However, he had not one exact clue or idea what he would want to do once getting in. Approximately 1 year before Pilot had to put in his application for Starfleet Academy, he knew what he would like to do. That evening he got the info padds from Starfleet Academy on Medical, Engineering, and Security Fields. After a long decision making process, Stardate 0209.01 Cadet Pilot gets accepted into Starfleet Academy, he majors in Engineering and minors in Medical & Security. Stardate 0209.23 he enters the Academy for his first time beginning classes that day. After a long 2 years of studying and working hard creating simulations on the holodecks and doing intense amounts of work and doing group projects. E'jAi Pi'LuT graduates from Starfleet Academy on Stardate 0409.23. Glorious day in the Pi'LuT (Pilot) Family, the son of Solern & Jessica had earned his wings and was about to be out on his own doing what he loved; being apart of Starfleet. Immediately following his graduation on Stardate 0409.23, Pilot had put in an application to the Sovereign Class starship U.S.S. Excalibur, which he waited very patiently for a response. Finally, Stardate 0409.27, the Commanding Officer, and Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Excalibur replied to his application; they had approved his application. Cadet Pilot had applied to be Assistant Medical Officer on board the Ex calibur. Once receiving his orders he confirmed it, he was indeed AMO (Asst. Medical Officer) on board the Excalibur on Stardate 0409.28. Pilot excelled on the Excalibur quite quickly. Stardate 0505.08 Pilot was promoted from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade, a step away from being full Lieutenant, but he had earned it through his excellent performance aboard the USS Excalibur. Two months had passed, Pilot had undergone Defensive and Offensive Systems Training with Lieutenant J.G. Adrian Knight a former Asst Security Officer aboard the Excalibur. Pilot passed with the advice of Knight during a simulation of the Excalibur versus a Borg Cube, where the Picard Reman Maneuver had to be performed. Four days later, Lieutenant J.G. Pilot had been promoted to full Lieutenant. During that, time Pilot did in fact have to use his newly acquired skills of the Excalibur's Offensive and Defensive systems because he happened to be on the bridge when the ship became under attack and boarded by the Dominion. After all of that Pilot transferred to USS Manticore as Assistant Engineering Officer and is currently serving as her AENG. Lieutenant Pilot is currently serving aboard the USS Manticore registry NCC 5852-A as Assistant Engineering Officer.

  8. Chief Medical Officer’s Log SD. 0802.19 Lt. Cmdr EJ Pilot recording… Pilot had witnessed an argument that involved his AMO Team of Ensign B’Etor Patterson & Ensign Joe Wilson. He thought those two wouldn’t get into a verbal battle not too long ago they had helped each other out. What could of caused them to fall out that fast. Pilot couldn’t put his finger on it as of yet. Pilot turned looking at his computer, “Computer, display Ensign Joe Wilson’s full bio in its entirety.” The computer beeped with confirmation and the screen lit up and filled with the bio. He then started skimming the bio looking for some type of information on what the hell was with Joe. As he read thoughts running through his mind “Maybe he doesn’t Klingons.” But he wouldn’t respect me all the time, even though I am his commanding officer unless Corizon or JoNs walks in. Pilot continued reading stumbled upon the fact that a few of Wilson’s relatives were killed during Romulan interactions, one of which was his grandfather. This did not change anything in Commander Pilot’s mind. We are all Starfleet officers and we have a duty. I acknowledge the fact that he can’t stand Romulans because of what tragedies they have caused in his family. But do not dishonor your Family name over a person who did not cause your family the tragedy in which you speak or feel in your heart. “Computer, end bio lookup for Joe Wilson.” Thinking to himself, “She is half klingon and half romulan, if anything she is a contradiction in herself.” But what he had against her was wrong and petty. I would hope this not to happen again. However, if it does. Disciplinary actions will be taken immediately. I will not have a hateful staff well I am the CMO of the USS Excalibur. Sickbay is my Bridge and I am her Captain. I run her operations and I oversee she is taken care of and my team is respectful to one another. Computer End Log.
  9. ::eyes widen then lets out a heavy sigh:: Not this place again. Please tell me not this place again. We just got out of there not too long ago. But what can you do? ::goes to make his ISS Bio::
  10. Chief Medical Officer’s Log Supplemental Entry #2 Sickbay was cleared but during the crisis of the exploding mines. We had a visit from a rather rude and obnoxious Yeoman. I understand they are the Captain or CO’s personal slave…assistant. However, did she have to be so damn rude? She also posed a threat to my sickbay. She reached for what appeared to be a sheath, which looked to be able to hold a small weapon or knife perhaps. I am not the one for violence. However, I will protect my sickbay patients by any means necessary. Yeomen also have to follow the chain of command as well, and luckily, we are not on a Klingon ship because he/she would have been dead already. On another note, Maria Kassem-Zier hasn’t reported in as of yet her status since the explosions. Hopefully she is ok and not laying out somewhere bleeding to death. I will send Joe or B’Etor, if she is up to it. To check on her ASAP, Alex would kill me if something happened to her. Lt Cmdr Pilot, MD recording. *End Log*
  11. I am "X" amount of days late HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY LOAMI -Mailk's Player
  12. We're all nervous. Because they need to bring out another Trek Series on Television. Maybe set after Nemesis, I am pretty the previous actors wouldn't mind coming back its a paycheck. I mean look at us we do every time we sim. I wouldn't be surprised if they watch our Sims for creative purposes. You never know.
  13. From the Desk of Dr. EJ Pilot M.D. Memo to: Commander M'Vess JoNs Subject: Casualty Report Message: Sir I am sorry to report that we currently don't any major casualties. Just the usual bumps, scraps, and bruises. I will keep your posted. We are mostly taking in minor injuries. Again I will keep you posted. Best regards, LtCmdr. E.J. Pilot M.D.
  14. Chief Medical Officer’s Log Supplemental Entry As casualties are helped and healed, accordingly we are faced with another unfortunate situation. Apparently, Ensign Patterson’s ridge was fractured during the mine explosions. It was repaired accordingly and she was sent to her quarters. The sickbay just had wounded we didn’t lose any people as of yet. End Log.
  15. Oops! Sorry about that A9. I will take Hottest Klingon-Human Doctor in the Quadrant
  16. Joint Log : B'Etor's pain from a Invisible Mine! Written by: Lt Cmdr EJ Pilot, CMO & Ensign B'Etor Patterson, AMO B'Etor sat on the bio bed, lying down and rubbing her ridges, as green blood seeped out from her hairline. "I thought I was fine..." Doctor Pilot runs a full body scan on B'Etor. "Do you know what you were doing before this happened?" "Yeah, holding on for dear life. I slammed my head into one of the hypo spray supply kits when the ship tilted roughly." She looked at him, wondering who may have hit their head harder. Pilot scans her cranial region. "Hopefully there isn't brain damage. Quick! Who is the Captain of the ship?" "Are you serious?" She looked at the CMO, and sat up, about to get up. "I am fine. Just a bit dizzy." She stood up and looked at him. "Yes as I matter fact I am. You could of damaged the memory center in your brain when you your head. I mean you are bleeding green for godsakes." He looked at her getting up. "Plus you mind as stay put. Remember I can order the Captain to stay (no pun intended) if I need be during a medical situation."Send Message Failed. Message is too long. "Yes as I matter fact I am. You could of damaged the memory center in your brain when you your head. I mean you are bleeding green for godsakes." He looked at her getting up. "Plus you mind as stay put. Remember I can order the Captain to stay (no pun intended) if I need be during a medical situation." She looked at him and shook her head. "Sir, I am fine, please, I just cut my head. If need be, relieve me of duty, I will go to quarters, but I don't need a complete scan." He shook his head. "Ensigns these days." Pilot gets a dermal regenerator. "At least let me patch up the cut. I can't have you walking around bleeding then say you work for me. It's bad for my business." She rolled her eyes and and moved back towards the bed, stumbling. Her eyes closed for a second and she fell to her knees. "Oh..." She put her hands over her face and head. He attempts to grab her. "Heyyy!" catches her in time. "See what I mean?" "I don't.. feel so well.." She looked up at him and moaned, as if about to lose conciousness. She was amazingly light for being a Klingon. Picks her back up and helps her onto the biobed. +Medical Comm Channel+ Available nurse to Sickbay on the double. Pilot grabs his tricorder again and starts scanning B'Etor. The nurse walked in and walked to the bio-bed. "Yes sir." She looked at B'Etor, who held the front part of her head, wincing. "Nurse please get her vitals." The nurse turned the bio-monitor on and then scanned her body, nodding. "Pulse is 54, no 85.. No..54.. Damn double chambered heart. Resperations are 16, BP is 114 over 65." Pilot puzzled as what could be causing this. Thinking to himself; could it be her special genetic makeup? He looks at her. "B'Etor has this pain ever happened before? Or something similar to it?" "Only.. when I was 13.. I was slammed in a wrestling match.. Concussion, perhaps?" She looked up at him as the nurse continued to get scans. "Sir, her Blood Pressure is fluctuating." Looks at the nurse. "Nurse get it stabalized." He looks back to B'Etor. "Perhaps, or maybe your body can't handle shocks like that to it?" "All it was.. was a bang on the head. Just fix me.." She looked up at him. The nurse tried, and looked at him. "Sir, I have no reason for her BP to be changing the way it is." B'Etor looked at him. "It's normal.." He winces. "These two species mixed together is a trip." He scans the dermal regenerator over her cut sealing it. "Nurse, give her a hypo that will help with the pain." The nurse gave her the hypospray and scanned her again. "Sir, her nueral activity is dropping to normal levels." "Good." Looks over at B'Etor. "Did you want to stay her for observation or just go to your quarters?" "I'll go to my quarters.." The nurse continued to scan her body, moving towards her head. "Sir..." He looks at the Nurse. "Yes Nurse?" "There is a micro fracture of her 4th left ridge. Whatever hit her, hit her hard." She showed him the readings. "Microfracture?" He looked stunned. "I didn't think the ridges of a Klingon could fracture. I thought these were the one indestructible thing on my body, besides my abs." "Right there. The fracture goes vertically, for about 2 centimeters." There it was, where the blood had been seeping out, there was a small crack in her ridge. "Hmm we're going to have to research this I am not familar with Klingon medicine. Can it be replaced or repaired even?" "I don't see why it wouldn't be the same as the human skull. Why not try a bone regenerator?" She looked at him. "Aye. B'Etor one last thing.." B'Etor looked over at him, her eyebrows arching higher than they naturally were. Pilot gets a bone regenerator from the table across from them. "Let me just do one thing." Scans the regenerator over her ridge. She grabbed the bio-bed, her nails digging in. She let out a scream and held her place, though it felt like a knife cutting into her head. Pilot finished. "There your ridge was fractured a bit." Looks to the Nurse. "Give her the strong stuff for pain. Tylenol 3 type pain reliever." "I can't have codeine.." She looked at him. "It's bad for Romulan's." She looked at him. "Then what can you have?" Pilot asked. "Motrin will be fine.." Pilot grabs some Motrin. Hypos her. "Very good." "Can I go to my quarters now?" She looked at him, in pain and confused. "Yes" he replied.

  20. A9 can i have this one: For One to Die alone is sad, but For one to die with honor that is one true dream.
  21. Pilot stood out of the way of the entrance of the hospital as the doctor had asked us to keep out of the way. He wanted to comply with that. "Team you heard the man keep out of their way." B'Etor looked over and stood against the wall, brushed by nurses and people. Looking at the CMO she shrugged. "I feel like a Ferengi Spider.. Useless and stuck.." Pilot says "Ferengi where?!" Pretending to defensively aim his phaser. She laughed and the nurses scowled. B'Etor raised an eyebrow, kinda annoyed by this mission. They weren't doing anything, and what little they did do was frowned upon. Pilot looks around a bit. "B'Etor, you and the strapping young ensign go check out their different medical equipment. I will look around this facility some by myself. If you run into some trouble comm me." "Run into trouble? You are joking. These people are too into their jobs to notice us unless we make jokes." She walked away, moving with the Ensign, heading into what looked like a storage room. "Hmm..Medications.. Surgical tools..." Pilot continued to walk off and browse the hospital. Thought to himself "Hmm I wonder where they gained the knowledge to build these hospitals and what not." As he continued walking. She scanned the instruments, getting an idea of what they had and how it was similar and different from Starfleet’s. "Some of these are odd..." The Ensign looked down at her and nodded. "Aye...so B'Etor how do you like Excalibur so far?" She looked up and shrugged. "So far, it's alright. Being down here is better than being up there, but with a full staff, I am amazed that there are only three out of six of us down here, with the amount of terrain and medical facilities there are." The Ensign raised an eyebrow and started talking matter-of-factly. "Well Missy, its not that many hospitals or medical facilities in this area, I don't believe." The Ensign pulls out his tricorder and checks the map that is in real time and being updated every minute. The Ensign looked at the results, pointing. "We've been to 1 and 2 which are at, at the moment. We've got like 1 or 2 I believe left to go according to this map on my tricorder." She shrugged looked over at the map and sighed. "Probably the same way this place is, outdated and over-crowded." She moved back towards the CMO. One of the nurses bumped into her and B'Etor looked at them, wondering how they missed a linebacker sized Klingon. She shook her head as the nurse just grunted. Pilot walked into a empty room and starts to scan the contents of the room as he saw different medical equipment on the table. She came up behind him and cleared her throat. "It's just me. Sir, their technology is way behind ours. They still use basic scalpels, or something close to it..." He turned around quick and looked at her "I almost killed you!" he said. "You don't sneak up behind the Klingon warrior." Pilot ran his hand through his hair and stood there. "What do you mean the? I am more Klingon than you." She smiled to him, shaking her head. "The natives are kinda hostile, at least towards me.." She watched how nervous he was and smiled more. He looks at her "Qapla." "Excuse me?" She looked at him confused. "I told you I can't speak Klingon.." Pilot smiles then says "Then how are you more Klingon than me?" Pilot started to grin to her. "Haha! Are we almost done here, the looks we are getting are giving me the creeps.." She looked into the other room, shuddering. Pilot finished scanning the equipment and moved too quickly, going right into B'Etor face to face, lips to lips (lightly) by mistake. Pilot stepped back "Beg my pardon B'Etor, moving too quickly." Her eyes went wide and she backed up, staring at him in awe and shock. "I'm..so sorry...I..." She stuttered in shock and backed into one of the doctors knocking them over. The doctor she knocked over got angry, standing up. “Hey! Watch it!" The doctor keeps moving. She turned fast, then her eyes darted around, looking for an exit, her mind spinning. "Uh... Sorry.." Pilot says "It was my fault. I was moving faster than I should of been. I apologize." The Ensign from before looked over, calling to them. “Lets move out we're leaving.” Pilot moved out of the room. "Ms. Patterson, shall we move on to the next hospital?” She nodded and followed them, shaking her head, wondering how that happened, and how she would tell Jaden. "Coming..." She walked out with them, now pre-occupied. Pilot heads out of the hospital and outside and retrieves his tricorder to check the map. She looked around the outside again and sighed. "Are we almost done? I don't think the other medical facilities will be much different than the other ones.." Pilot says "That was actually the last one." "Thank Kah'Less!" She cried out and looked at him, blinking. Pilot looks at his tricorder closes it and holsters it. "Yes Thank Kah’less. Now I will give you a PADD with my findings. Once we get back to the ship" She looked at him and blinked. "Alright, is there a reason it has to go to me?? Is it because I am the biggest Ensign here?" Pilot looks at her "Because you are here on the Away Team B'Etor.” Pilot smiles. She shook her head with a laugh. "What would you like me to do with it once you give it to me?" "Keep it for reference lady" Pilot smiles and chuckles. "Lady?! Ow, that hurts. I have a Name, Rank and Serial Number, you know." She looked around again. "Can we go up now?" Pilot laughs and replies. "You have to stay down here because you are complaining." "I am not Complaining! I want a shower, I have sand and planet in my shoes, hair, etc,..." She said then pointed out to him. Pilot says "Planet?" "Yes, the large circle of various flora and fauna we are standing on. You know what I mean." She stared at him. Pilot says "I am kidding calm down" Pilot pats B'Etor on the shoulder "You're alright Patterson." Pilot taps his comm badge. She looked at him and blinked, then smiled. "Does this mean you like me? You really like me?" Pilot looks at her "What is your definition of liking someone?" "You aren't going to send me back to the Academy and I stay on the ship?" She looked at him smirking. “Excalibur Medical Team finished and ready to return home 4 to beam up.” He said into his badge. "You're the best assistant I've had why would I send you away?" Pilot said to her. "Stop.. flattering me will only boost my ego." She smiled, as they were beamed back.
  22. ===Start Duty Log=== Stardate 0801.04 Lt Cmdr EJ Pilot recording…. As the day started today I got to sickbay early my staff wasn’t all there yet but we get a crewman hopping in at 0600 hours, screaming “I’ve sprained my ankle!”. I quickly pull out a tricorder and scan the poor crewman’s ankle. I tell him, well you have slightly sprained your ankle. I will give a muscle relaxer so you won’t have to feel all of this pain. He complied and relaxed after I gave him the hypospray. I then did an Xray to see if the bone had been cracked even though it was a sprain. I didn’t find anything other than it just being sprained, I placed a cast on it and gave him crouches and sent him on his way. Around 0700 my staff starts to arrive for this morning. I was so used to seeing Joe and Maria coming in I forgot I had more staff members {::laughs::}. 0715 Hours rolls around we get several crewman coming in with head injuries. I am basically trying to figure what is going on, are our crewman drunk? As I am examining one of them who has a conscious, I politely asked him how did this happen. The crewman says, I hit my head on the bunk in my barracks. I guess I have to get used to sleeping on the bottom. A puzzled look comes onto my face in my mind. I simply reply, “Ahh that would explain all the crewman in here.” As my staff and I tend to our conscious’d victims. Sickbay starts to quiet down it is now 0830 hours. I start to look over my supplies for this month. I like to be stocked and somewhat overstocked. You never know when you need to barter with Medical Supplies to get a task done in this day and age. I tend to keep medical kits in stock pretty heavy. I actually need to find a place on the bridge to store them I will have to get in touch with Captain Corizon about that. I moved into my office and began going over some long overdue paper work that should have been entered and sent to the Captain at 0700. I get the work typed in and sent to him. Hopefully he doesn’t rip my head off and file the papers in my neck for them being late the 3rd time in a row. My Staff begins to rotate begin the Med Labs and Sickbay. I leave my office for a moment to go over into the Medical Lab to monitor abit. Leaving our loving Dr. Hasselton in charge of my beautiful sickbay. Right before I work into the lab a small but quite black mist of smoke slips through the door, of course my first impression is fire. I step in to see a lab experiment gone bad. Luckily I didn’t call a Maintenance crew down to put it out. Apparently one of my techs was trying to mix two chemicals that don’t mix and got a little smoke. I told him to be careful I don’t think Captain Corizon would be very appreciative if we burnt his ship down from the inside out. 1100 Hours rolls around an I am feeling quite hungry and it was time for my scheduled break. I headed out of Sickbay and off to the Turbolift to leave Deck 11 itself and headed to Deck 6. After lunch I returned to sickbay and quietly sat in my office and looks over some status reports from Corizon. The medical comm. Board lights up with a few medical requests from crewmen in different areas of the ship. I moved to board and began to answer some while my staff responded to others. (++Comm Message: Medical Emergency to Holodeck 2!++) +Med Comm Link+ Available Medical Team meet me in Holodeck 2 Code: M.E. I repeat Code: M.E. I grab my medkit and pocketed my Medic Tricorder and headed to the Turbolift then entered; Deck 3A! Once arriving at the Holodeck the crewmen had stopped the program and had the patient laying there waiting for us. I looked at his pips to see he was an Ensign; “Ensign what happened here?” I asked, as I scanned the injuries. He replies, “Sir we were rock climbing I cut the safety protocol off so it would be more realistic. Then she fell scrapped up against a sharp rock formation and got cut up.” Get her on the stretcher! And tend to the bleeding! I commanded. My medics rushed to do as told then left to get here to sickbay, they had been informed they would be receiving a patient. The ensign looking quite scared, Ensign, I said. It will be okay we got to her in time, plus it’s not a very serious injury. Go to your quarters and calm down. The Ensign did I as said, I then returned to a semi-full sickbay. But luckily the patients were already being tended to by my staff. They began to exit out after they received attention. 0100 is the time an I have about 2 more hours before I am done for the day and Mrs. Zier & Mr. Wilson take over. I went into my office and wrote an incident report about the rock climbing incident and forwarded it to the Captain. Sickbay once again went sort of slow which was a good thing medically wise, we don’t need a ship full of sick people. I quietly sat in my office and sipped my coffee that I had just got from my private office replicator. I just wondered what next would happened, from people hitting heads on barracks to falling off rocks (in space none the less!) it just reminded me anything can happen in space. Checking the clock once it was 0258 hours, Kassem-Zier had gotten in but Joe hadn’t, then at 0300 exactly Joe walks in. Good afternoon lady and gentle-“man”. A wave and hello replied back to me. I will catch you fancy cats on the flipside. Laughs came like torpedos from my staff’s mouths. It was some lingo they used in the 70s and 80s of Earth history, so I read… --END DUTY LOG.--
  23. ====Start Personal Log==== Stardate: 0712.30 As I get used to what I call my new home; the “Excalibur-C” I still wonder would I rather be on Earth aka Sector 001 at Starfleet Medical. But as I gather my thoughts I then realize my place is on this ship. Everything would seem different not seeing certain officers and my colleagues on daily basis as I do now. It would be awkward to say the least. I would never think about leaving my ship or crew especially now since everyone needs everyone if that makes sense. I enjoy my position or job aboard this fine vessel. I mean I do get into with some, such as Laarell on the bridge that day but I can’t be mad at a Orion woman, they’re so beautiful even if they are green. I respect her though. Then our Pet-like Command Staff animal people, JoNs so much love and respect for her. Then Corizon, I wish I had a Doggie whistle sometimes, just sometimes. I am pretty sure its some medication he can be given to make his ability to act nicer come out more, but still be a stern Captain of the number 1 ship in the fleet. I do sometimes miss my previous friends/colleagues, but I can’t expect them to stay onboard and hold their careers back to just be around me. That would be selfish of myself. [My human side is coming out] Brianna Zion was an excellent CMO in her time here on Excalibur, As was Ms. Elaine Delgado who was also an exemplarily CMO. Then once they were gone it was my turn. I sometimes feel as if I am messing up and being more Assistant-like rather more Chief-like. But I’m working on it, I have to. My crew, Captain, Commander, and officers of this fine vessel are counting on me. I will begin to try harder everyday. I know I can do it. It may seem as a struggle at first, but I will overcome and I will come out on top rather than the assistant state of mind coming out on top. End Log. ::sips his last drip of coffee and sets in the recycler and moves to the sonic shower::
  24. Though you would think working at the source of your skills and knowledge is easier because of the fact that is where all your regulations come from and they are followed to the “T' that isn't the case in every organization..... {This log depicts my first month at Starfleet Medical HQ} Dr. Pilot stood in a medical bay quite larger than the USS Excalibur. This particular medical bay was fitted for multitasking when we have casualties come back to Earth during Wars and such though we can partition it at a moment's notice it was still quite large. Pilot had seen many patients this day most with small injuries. But they had a “boo-boo” as to speak and wanted it fixed. Pilot sat down at desk in the medical office area and began entering patient visitor logs into the Computer so they could be logged as visiting the Sickbay today. As Pilot finished up a gorgeous young Lieutenant walks in with a problem, apparently she was practicing her karate moves in the Holodeck and just happens to land on her foot the wrong way and heard her leg pop, Therefore she has a limp when she walks an leaned against the biobed once she got into the sickbay. I carefully helped her onto the biobed an began scanning her foot and leg with my medical tricorder. Pilot looking at the results of his scans; Pilot says in a professional voice “It seems you have fractured your foot and dislocated your leg.” She looks at Pilot, then replies “Wow! I didn't think I had fractured or dislocated anything, maybe just sprained it a little. Thanks Doc.” Pilot walks over to the tray and grabs a Hypospray and dispenses it to her via the neck. “This is something for pain you might experience” The young Lieutenant looks at him “What pain?” Pilot noticed that the dislocated leg was easily able to be re-located back into place without hesitation. Pilot says before re-locating it “This pain.” Pilot puts her leg back into place. She in the end doesn't feel a thing. Pilot then wraps her foot, and gets her a pair of crutches from the back storage room. “Thank you so much Dr. Pilot.” replied the young Lieutenant. The clock reads 1400 hours and its time for a break from his 9-5 so to speak. Pilot headed over to the cafeteria inside the medical oriented building. Pilot stepped into the line, as he stood there he just roughly thought about the Excalibur she was his home for so many years and now she had been taken away. Pilot stepped up to the order front “May I have an order of large live Gagh, Roasted Chicken, Grilled Pork Chops, and the biggest Bloodwine possible” The Order taker paused and looked at him for a moment then replies “Sir, we are out of Bloodwine & Gagh our shipment from the Klingon homeworld hasn't come in yet.” Pilot got kind of semi-sulky, so he rethinks his order. “I'll take the Roasted Chicken, Grilled Pork Chops, Garlic Mashed Potatoes; the largest order you can give me. The drink I will have Synethol with it. Days Later -- It was near the end of the month I hadn't done that much my first month here at Starfleet Medical. They had me doing basic medical work as I had done on the Excalibur. I had yet to fully participate in any surgical procedures. There were some days where I didn't even really have to work just monitor the Medical Bay for my period of time. Most of my patients were academy students, some were senior and junior officers, but mostly academy officers all the time. I have had my times when my favorite lunch isn't available—but that doesn't turn me away from my work. Working here this month has been very inspirational for me. I have made some new colleagues and friends. But I still do miss the Excalibur crew.
  25. Very Nice Log Laarell, :D I mean Commander Teykier.
