Even in the 23rd century. BTW, I'm sorry to have been away so long. I've been back and forth from the doctors with my SMS, and Angel and I are no more. Not getting into any details, but the story is rife for a melodramatic Trek script. :P But, I WILL be back sometime in the next few months. Actually Troi's rank during Next Gen was Lieutanent Commander, they revealed it in "Chain of Command" when Captain Jellico calls Troi to the carpet and tells here that "his officers will wear proper uniforms on the bridge". When she returnes in a uniform, she has Lieutenant Commanders pips. She was promoted to full Commander when she passed the bridge officers exam later in Next Gen. New Voyages is a very good show. The last three episodes have been awesome. I just saw part one of "Of Gods and Man". The full length movie by the NV crew. If you get a chance google it and watch part one. Great stuff.

:) Found this on Memory Alpha today. Percy Rodriguez, the actor who played Commodore Stone in the TOS episode "Court Martial", has died according to the site The Shark is Still Working. Rodriguez, who was the first black actor to play a flag officer on Star Trek, died of kidney problems on the morning of 6 September 2007. He was 86 years old.

Hey Luna, My advice would be to play all the departments you can in academy. Get the feel of each one. Then, when you graduate pick your favorate. As for the technobabble stuff, go to the different advanced sim websites. Alot of them have great tech pages, like Challenger ::smile::. Or, go to some of the sites online.
