I voted TAS because of the Caitian M'ress. Also, some ideas used in later Trek series. The warp core, replicators, and even the holodeck first made appearances in the animated series. Plus, the stories were all very good. Yes, the Filmation anime sucked big time. But, all in all it wasn't too bad. And, it was a very special part of my childhood. I did a lot of RPGs in high school and college, D@D, Trek, etc. And, I wanted to see what this "online" role playing was all about. So, I did a search in yahoo for Star Trek RPGs and found STSF. So, I logged in and liked what I saw. And in March of 2004, I started simming here. I've been out of the loop for a while because of school and work. He saved a family from a nest of bloodworms and was awarded Caits honor. After graduating, he became a lieutenant in the planetary security force. Commander Calvin Spike. His daughter Angie, had been assimilated by the Borg two and a half years earlier. Because of Daryus' knowledge of the Borg cube, Spike wanted Daryus to coordinate a rescue of his wife and daugher. On the mission, Angie was found and rescued by an away team led by Captain Picard with Riker, Worf, Spike and Daryus. For the rescue Daryus received a Starfleet civilian award. He retuned to Cait to mourn for his lost Cyndel and raise his daughter. Starfleet had to step in again 6 months later during another Borg incursion. Daryus' security force helped once again to repel the invaders. Daryus decided then that he was going to join Starfleet and attend the academy. There he met Angie5, who he had been captured by and he later helped rescue. She had decided to attend the academy also. They struck an immediate friendship, and both started Starfleet academy together on stardate O403.03. Graduated academy stardate 0403.14. He stayed at starfleet to take further classes while waiting for post. Commanded U.S.S. Pursuit as executive officer on 0404.18 on a training mission and didn’t get anyone including himself killed. Sent out by Starfleet with Angie5 to assist the IKC Qob. While assisting, they were swept into an anomoly with the Qob 30.000 light years into the Alpha Quadrent. Those Corgi cars from the 60's are selling for hundreds of dollars to collectors. My brother had the James Bond car when he was a kid, and he had the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car. He wishes he still had all his Corgi's. *LOL*

(it had a "working transporter, you'd put the action figure in, spin the dial, press a button and he'd appear outside the playset) Star Trek toys, the phaser shooting set, communicator walki talkies, tricorder tape recorder. Star Wars Toys (never really got into them, more into Trek) G.I. Joe before he got shrunk, the G.I. Joe battle command set. 3 feet tall with a working searchlight. G.I. Joe's Jeep, submarine, etc. G.I. Joe with kung fu grip. (get the impression I was seriously into G.I. Joe as a kid) *LOL* The original Atari pong. No cartridges, just 3 built in games. Klackers (two glass balls connected by a string, you could do serious damage to your body with them) Micronauts Whirly Birds (it was a helocopter on a rod with a control to raise it up and down and around in circles, I had the Star Trek one that had the Enterprise instead of a helocopter) Magic Wishing Trolls.
