  1. Happy birthday STSF! Live long and prosper, all that jazz. :P
  2. "Well. Hellooo there."
  3. Bio of Torre Ze'Rea Torre Ze'Rea: Currently Assigned: U.S.S. Arcadia Current Position: Assistant Engineer Current Rank: Lieutenant (I couldn't find any pictures of cardassians, who look like Torre, so I substituted with some humans.) Artificial Lungs and Liver. Slim yet muscular with a moderate height. She has almond shaped eyes and a heart shaped face. Her lips are full and she normally wears light aqua coloring on her teardrop shaped features. She normally wears the traditional Bajoran earring of her adoptive family when off duty. Education: Homeschooled by her biological father until age 13, and then her adoptive parents until age 18 and she then entered Starfleet academy aiming to become an engineer. Ze'Rea has been shown to have received training in espionage and she also has the ability (like most cardassians who have received this training) to resist vulcan mind melds. Family: Biological Mother, Dead. Biological Father unknown. Adoptive parents dead. Biological Father: Unknown Gul Biological Mother: Dennaea Gerec (deceased, died October 31st, 2360, former maquis) Adoptive Father: Torre Ourn (deceased, died January 15th, 2385, former sculptor) Adoptive Mother: Torre Leena (deceased, died January 15th, 2385, former mum, defender of the nest, kick-butt female) Siblings (children of adopted parents): 2 sisters, Torre Mundaha (27, Bajoran, medical school student, unmarried), Torre Kira (6, Bajoran, Not yet in school, in custody of Torre Ze'Rea), unknown if Ze'Rea had any biological siblings Spouse: None, previously engaged to Arthur Rodrick (deceased, died 2383, October 31st, former botanist) Companions: two goldfish, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, both male History: Ze'Rea was born to an unknown Gul and a Betazed reganade on the 61st day of Runoa, or the 31st of October (her first name means love in cardassian, and ironically, sassy in bajoran. Her middle name, Runoa, came from the cardassian word and month, which meant Choice). Her mother died giving birth and her father took her in. She spent most of her child life living on cardassia, but when she was 13 her memory was wiped and she was taken off of cardassia. She remembers everything but who he was and whom she knew on cardassia. Her only reminder of cardassia was a picture of her when she was almost 13. Bajoran parents adopted her and they introduced her to Starfleet, which, by the time she was 14, determined to enter. At the age of 18 she applied and was accepted into the academy. She went into engineering and graduated 4 years later. She was assigned to the U.S.S. Tigress as an assistant engineer. Three years after she was assigned to the Tigress her parents were killed, and she consequently went to counseling for a couple of months. A month after they died she was given custody of her youngest sister, whom lives with her at her different posts. A month after she got custody of her little sister she was re-assigned to the U.S.S. Arcadia as assistant engineer. Ze'Rea has a close relationship with her older sister who helped her get used to Bajor when she arrived. Ze'Rea and her sister drifted apart when their parents died, but later reconnected when Ze'Rea was visiting Bajor to retrieve her younger sister. Ze'Rea is the caretaker of her youngest sister, Torre Kira. Kira and her have a good relationship, with Kira following Ze'Rea to her different posts. Kira also doesn't judge her sister, even when she gets fed up with her. Ze'Rea used to be a competition dancer, starting to enter competitions by the age of 12 (though she stopped dancing 2 years later). She is also a fair singer and enjoys performing. Ze'Rea was formerly engaged to the late Arthur Rodrick, a botanist on the U.S.S. Tigress. 3 months after they were engaged, he was killed when a plasma conduit blew out. That was in 2383, on Ze'Rea's birthday. 1 year and 9 months later her parents were killed. When Ze'Rea was adopted by her bajoran parents, she kept her middle and first name, and took their last name, and uses it in the traditional bajoran fashion of placing it first. Starfleet Academy: Graduation Date: May 3rd, 2383 Class Rank: 8 of 3012 Ze'Rea entered the academy at the age of 18 and immediately dove into her classes. She isolated herself from others until she met a fellow cardassian and two humans in the academy. She eventually became friends with them. While in the academy she had joined the Nova squadron and flew in many competitions and ceremonies. She was given the callsign Artemis, due to her aptitude at long range weapons, and because of her love of reclusion, though she flew with a major amount of attitude. Ze'Rea also was a member of a band during her later academy years singing and occasionally playing secondary drums. Medical Records: Ze'Rea is in excellent health. She keeps a vigorous and strengthening exercise routine that consists of Betazed, Andorian, and Klingon Martial arts. She also takes part in swimming and running programs as well as yoga and dancing. She does not have any serious medical conditions, though, due to cancerous history from her mother's side, she has a slight chance of developing cancer. She also has an allergy to grass pollen and soy nuts. Her blood type, is closely related to type O+ She has signs of serious injury in her past, how she got that is unknown (most likely from information extraction while she was living on Cardassia). She has several scars and artificial lungs as well as an artificial liver. She also has signs of a previously broken skull and previous internal bleeding. She also has a limp that she got at an early age, that becomes more noticeable in times of extreme duress. Ze'Rea has numerous tattoos, including the words, 'Vis-a-la-Vis' on the inside of her right arm, just below her elbow, the word 'Corruptio' on the outside of her left thigh, a triskelion on the back of her neck, and an enlarged chinese symbol for choice on her left shoulder blade. Recent searching into Ze'Rea's ancestry showed that her great grandmother on her mother's side was Orion, giving Ze'Rea purple eyes. Psych profile: Ze'Rea is a stable person, though her family was mentally unstable, mostly her father's side of her family. She is currently mentally sound, though struggles with returning depression. She does not have any prejudices to any races, but does have a dislike of the dominion, though not to all that belong to its previous races (Changlings, Vorta, Jem'Hadar, ect.), and the stereotypical Cardassian. Ze'Rea had a lot of trouble fitting in on Bajor and was constantly bullied. She sometimes thought of returning to Cardassia and a place where she might have been more accepted, though she does display disgust to many of the cardassian ways. In the academy, although she took great measures to try and fit in and make friends she was friendless through her first three years in the academy until she met a few cadets who accepted her. She as a pacifist by nature and also goes to great lengths to make people feel comfortable. She is also an extremely social person, but she has not had a chance to really have any friends since her last year at the academy. She is quick to stand up for others, but not for herself and she has struggled with her self-confidence times before, but about when she turned 20 she had become better at viewing herself positivly. On the outside she appears rather shy and introverted, but when she lowers her guard her nature comes out of a social, sarcastic, cynical woman who attempts to listen and create lasting friendships, and has an admittedly short temper. Ze'Rea has a few fears, heights, tight spaces, and fire. She has overcome her fear of small spaces and heights mostly, but fire causes her moderate to extreme stress depending on the amount of fire and how close she is to it, but she does admit to admiring it. Ze'Rea has a photographic memory, most likely from training on Cardassia, and complete resistance to mind-melds. Service Jacket: 2378: Entered Starfleet academy 2382: Graduated from Starfleet academy 2382: Promoted to the rank of midshipman 2382: Assigned to the U.S.S. Tigress as assistant engineer 2384: Promoted to the rank of Ensign 2385: Given custody of her younger sister, 50809.14: Reassigned to the U.S.S. Arcadia 2385 (precise stardate unknown): Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, Junior Grade 50907.01: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Hobbies and Interests: Ze'Rea has many interests and hobbies, some of them being: Engineering, Piloting, Martial arts, Anthropology, dancing, gymnastics, singing, yoga, meditation, collecting pieces of bajoran and cardassian art, practicing music, listening to music (particularly from 20-21st century earth, any genre), painting, swimming, running, drawing, reading, piloting, using the holodeck for recreational reasons (mostly bungee jumping, skydiving, and relaxing in cardassian sauna's), baths, mathematics, camping, psychology, archeology, and biology.
  4. Promoted to Lieutenant! Yay!
  5. Well, the percentage that most people use that -doesn't- go into the sewers differs for person, so if they just chose one common percentage to be that, they would either be severely under, or over charging different people, so it really makes more sense to have two different bills, that depend on the amount of water going into the sewers and the amount people actually use. Never studied this, but just my theory as to why.
  6. Ze’Rea entered her quarters, her hair stuck to her head with sweat, still angry from her meeting with Lieutenant Kent. She figured her sister was asleep, and went to her room, to take a shower. She grabbed her nightgown, a sleeveless, short, white cotton dresslike one, and stripped off her exercise clothing as she went into the sonic shower, hanging the nightgown on a hook on her way in. She leaned against the wall, closing her eyes as she activated it, and felt all the dirt and sweat disappear. She loved the feeling. It was calming, almost like a real water bath. She enjoyed those when she lived on Bajor. Bajor. The Bajoran; Kent. She wasn’t really surprised she was like that. Most of the Bajoran crewmen in engineering avoided her, and she really didn’t have any shifts anywhere else. A blessing she supposed. She sighed as she deactivated the shower, stepping out to pull on the nightgown. She shuffled back into the main part of her bedroom, sitting down to brush out her hair, before lying back on the bed, and pulling the covers up over herself. “Computer, lights please,” she said, and as the lights dimmed, she rolled onto one side, closing her eyes in an attempt to sleep. She was 14 again, and sitting on top of a grassy hill, beneath, reading a book, Ringworld, an ancient earth novel. She was around 5 inches shorter then she was at 25, and her thick, glossy hair was only to her mid ribs. She brushed a piece of her long black hair out of her face, as she finished the chapter she was on, and she looked up, watching a group of other adolescents talking a ways away. She had been on Bajor for almost a year, and had learned the groups of people to stay away from, and groups of those more accepting. That particular group has expressed their distaste for her, and other Cardassians quite clearly, and Ze’Rea really hadn’t spent much time trying to talk to them, she just stayed away from them. But now when she looked up again, she saw two of the boys, and one of the girls set off towards where she sat. Her heart sank as they grew close, and she stood, steeling herself for any insults they planned to throw her way. They sniggered as they reached her. “Oh, look, its, The Cardie,” the older of the boys said, smirking. Ze’Rea pursed her lips, and crossed her arms. “And what, are you doing here?” the girl asked, raising an eyebrow as she planted a hand firmly on one hip, and surveyed her with a look of disgust. “Reading,” Ze’Rea responded, tucking the book under her arm. The younger of the boys peered at it, snorting. “Ringworld? Cardassian I take.” Ze’Rea shook her hair back, in an attempt to hide her growing nervousness. “Human… from the 20th century…” “Still trying to fit in? Can’t on Bajor, can’t on Cardassia. My my my, it seems you really don’t belong anywhere,” the girl said again, smirking as she watched Ze’Rea. Ze’Rea felt a prickle of anger, but before she could respond in kind, she heard a voice. “What is this?” Ze’Rea and the others looked behind her, to see Ze’Rea’s parents daughter, and Ze’Rea’s technical sister. She was tall, thin, and has beautiful auburn hair and almond shaped eyes. She walked over to where Ze’Rea and the other three were, glaring at the three Bajorans. “They bothering you, again, Zaz?” Ze’Rea pursed her lips. “Its under control…” Mundaha, Ze’Rea’s sister frowned slightly, before sneering at the other Bajorans. “Come on Zaz… got some places we can go where we won’t be annoyed,” and Mundaha flipped her hair back, taking Ze’Rea by the arm, and half dragging her over the hill. “I could have handled it!” Ze’Rea exclaimed, but still letting her sister drag her, partially relieved. “Feel like going back then?” Mundaha said, still walking down the hill back towards the more settled area. Ze’Rea shook her head. “That’s alright…” Mundaha stopped, and looked at Ze’Rea. “Ze’Rea… you’re really going to want to be careful. There are some, if not many, Bajorans who still worst of Cardassians then they think badly of the Dominion.” Ze’Rea sighed, nodding. “I know… its funny. Some think, myself included, that Cardassians are so racist, with their feelings about how Bajorans and other species in the alpha quadrant are lesser to them, but there are so many Bajorans who think worst of Cardassians then Cardassians think of Bajorans.” Mundaha nodded grimly. “It stings… to think about being under control of another species that thinks they are better and superior to you.” “I would imagine so…” Torre said, starting down the hill, Mundaha walking with her. “I’m just glad I have you, and Mum and Dad to help me… and Cerina of course…” she said, speaking of her parents, and her best friend, who she met a year ago when she arrived. Mundaha nodded. “Keep your friends close…” “I have to don’t I? I don’t have that many anyways…” Ze’Rea woke up, it was, according to her clock, around 6 in the morning. She had been sleeping for a few hours. She heard someone moving, and looked over to see Kira standing there. “Your mumbling in your sleep again,” Kira accused her, still looking unnervingly old for a six year old. Ze’Rea sighed. “Sorry. Could you hear me from your room?” “Well… you sounded like you were having a conversation with someone else in your sleep. It was slightly amusing,” Kira responded, climbing onto Ze’Rea’s bed. “Can we have breakfast now?” Ze’Rea looked down at her. It was strange to think, that a few hours ago, she had been tied to a table, surrounded by pig men talking about how she was sick, especially around her younger sister. “Sure… breakfast…”
  7. Happy birthday o fuzzy one!
  8. Are you sure this is where we parked the ship Bones?
  9. Well monks, they gotta do stuff the weird way...

  13. Happy birthday Sam! Hope it's a good one!
  14. Ze'Rea leaned her head back on the table. She had her panic attacks under control by now, and was simply concentrating on breathing. 'This day… mind-numbing is an understatement.' She hoped whatever the people tying them there, weren't trying to prepare them for whatever… eating, breeding, slave-labor, ect. That was something she didn't need. She had to admit, this wasn't as shocking as it might have been if she was younger. After all… it had happened to her before. Only difference, she is 12 years older. Well… that and, there was more pain, or so she remembered. That part of her memory was foggy as she couldn't remember anything before that. She was more worried about everyone else. There seemed to be a lot more screaming and banging then there was earlier, and she didn't know if it was from the pigmen doing something, or someone freaking out. She was curious about what was going on. She remembered appearing in a dungeon like place, all the stuff that happened, and then… darkness. It was surprisingly peaceful… and suddenly she came too in Engineering, and was transported here. Mainly she was worried about her little sister. Where was she… was she hurt? If she was there was going to be serious hell to pay. 'I'm tied to a table… again.'
  15. Welcome to the game Zremorca! Like Kansas said, it's a wicked cool RPG site.
  16. Indeed! Happy birthday Laura!
  17. LOL You met someone like that today?
  18. Ultimetly Sappy, Silly, Romulans
  19. When you said that my mind jumped to the words, N'Dak. lol Welcome to the game Kilby. You don't need all that much knowledge (I came here when I had only finished TOS and was in season 5 of TNG), as long as you have some basic knowledge, which Memory Alpha has.... basic and beyond.
  20. I enjoyed greatly First Contact (borg queen. whooooowaaaaahh), The Wraith of Khan, and The Voyage Home. The Motion Picture: I could never see Kirk as an admiral, but he got his flippin' ship back. Wraith of Khan: I personally luved it. For one thing, it delved into Khan's character, who was an impressive character, even though I kinda wanted to smack 'im. Search for Spock: Robin Curtis did a great job as Saavik (my dad disagrees with this heartily, lol), and Uhura locking that watch officer in a closet. Priceless. Voyage Home: One word, whales. Final Frontier: Didn't like it that much. Just bugged me. The Undiscovered Country: Meh... Generations: It was pretty good... not at what it could have been though First Contact: mmm, mmm, mmm. So good. Insurrection: I personally enjoyed it. Nemesis: haven't seen it... doubt I ever will.
  21. Yeah, it's just our way. Plus, its basically, the plotline.
  22. I just finished watching Love Hina, the whole series, for the 20th time. I just can't get enough. Now if Amazon can just send me the specials that I ordered...
  23. Happy birthday Sovak, from one illogical being to you. Also, magnetic tap shoes? lol
  24. I've gotten 2 on each account I have (Aliana Lucindak and this one), from two different people. I've blocked them, but you can also talk to A9 about doing something.
  25. Cewl. Welcome back.
