Seriously thinking of switching from a PC to a mac tomorrow..... Anyone ever done that and live to tell the tale? LOL Seriously tho, how hard is it going to be to do that? I do have a couple of PC only programs that I'll to figure out something to do with them. I have Office 2003. I'll probably have to buy a new license for that... ::sigh:: Couple of games, some DOC files. Pictures won't be a problem I don't think.... Anywho, any advice on how to make the switch as painless as possible? Thanks.

Yea, I think Open Office is the way to go. I'll have to say buh bye to Office 2003. No worries, I got to go to school so it was like $129 and that was about a year and a half ago. Well I'll be off to the computer store in a few hours so..... My brother thinks I'm crazy. heh heh

I apologize to Simon for the lateness of this. I thought I had posted it already. Anyway, everyone say "well done" to Simon if you see him. CONGRATS Simon!!!

As the PB was heading towards the transport, Muon wondered if they would catch the pirates this time. She was sick and tired of these pirates and was determined to stop them. They were thieves, nothing more. Like thousands of thieves before and unfortunately, like many that would come to be. Based on all the evidence so far, Muon was convinced it was rogue band of Breen. The blood sample, the communication device, the weapons signature, all pointed to the Breen. Yes, yes, she knew it was still inconclusive but she felt it down deep in her soul that it was the Breen. On a hunch, she contacted Amnor and asked her to nose around and find out if the Breen government was having any problems with rogue bands. As it turned out, they were. Again, this was inconclusive but if you added it all together, it was a pretty strong indication that the Breen were involved. As the PB dropped out of warped at the designated coordinates, she immediately tried to find out "who" was in the area besides the transport. What they found was........ Determination and anger drove what happened next.

Ok, so I checked the history of Sky Harbor Aegis again and NO, the Breen were not present at the signing of the treaty at the end of the Dominion Wars, so.... whatever could this mean? I've started this topic so everyone can voice their opinions. Myself, I think it means we'll be seeing the Breen again and that quite possibly, they're behind the recent attacks on ships. So, what do you guys think? Feel free to add some more hints Fred!!! <_<

Muon stared dumbfounded at the closing turbolift door. She just couldn't believe the Admiral had snubbed her like that. Muon was, after all, his only other command staff person available so she was just stunned..... Taking a deep breath, Muon did her best to do her job over the next few hours, even though she was being pulled in many directions at once. She had JoNs escort Hawke and Shephard to the brig and to stand guard duty there; went down to sickbay to check on Carst and the Rixian and to also check on having the Rixian transfered to the brig; arranged for Carst to transfer the Rixian to the brig; sent GoldShirt to meet with the Cardassian Ambassador; was going to try and meet the Admiral and the Romulan Ambassador but a problem came up with transferring the Rixian and with Ethan falling ill; GoldShirt wound up not finding the Cardassian Ambassador and Muon wound up in security trying to help out as best she could. It was not a good day and, apparently, it was going to get worse. Muon had received a memo from Ambassador Joy Eight complaining about an armed escort for the Cardassian and Romulan Ambassadors. Little did Joy know that this was entirely within protocol. It was only during meetings and negotiations and such that weapons would not be allowed. And why was Muon having to explain all this? She was getting very tired of the uppity, snooty Mudd Ambassador thinking that their every whim would be granted. This was Muon's station, not the Mudd's. And they would, by the FCA, follow protocol and procedures or get the hell of her station!! Just wait til Muon had the time to answer that memo. Security had just managed to get Ethan and JoNs transfered to sickbay and the Rixian into a cell. Muon was just on her way out to try and find GoldShirt and the newly arrived Ambassadors, when the Admiral arrived. Muon, for the life of her, could not figure out why the Admiral was still so mad. She had worked her Ferengi butt off today but judging by the look on his face, he wasn't going to appreciate it. Yes, Muon was getting mad.... enough is enough.

The whole day had been a blur for Muon. From when she first got the call about the Captain, then hearing about the Gorn, and all the way to when she made her way back to sickbay. Man o man, Muon needed a vacation.... As she made her way back to the CT for the upteenth time, to brief the Admiral, Muon seriously hoped that this latest "fire" was almost over. Hopefully the Admiral had been able to smooth things over with Starfleet and with the Gorn Ambassador. If not, Muon decided she would just shoot herself and be done with it. She still needed to speak with JoNs and find out what in the name of the FCA she was thinking in helping Dent. Oy, oy, oy...... And there was the Rixian's quarters to go over too. And Muon didn't even want to think about Ethan and what she planned to do with the Rixian. Muon had her suspicions, but if she were right... well then, Muon would have to step in. So, for now, Muon could honestly say she knew nothing about anything.... Speaking of the Rixian.. There was still no evidence to suggest he was working with anyone. Searching his quarters, Muon felt, would confirm that. Then there would be the problem of what to do with him. Personally, Muon had a nice airlock available..... Ah well, she would discuss that with the Admiral as well, along with the Gorn situation. They had been herded thru sickbay, their ship checked and double checked, and the Gorn Ambassador stuffed. All should be semi calm now... Man o man, Muon definitely needed a vacation.

As Muon assisted with readying the shuttle, her mind was troubled. Troubled about Ethan. Troubled about leaving Ronin in charge of Security. Troubled about their mission to Huret to find Ambassador Raumuk. Troubled about the temporary XO that had just arrived. Muon was just a troubled soul all around. Dr McKinny had noticed but was kind enough to give Muon her space. Once the shuttle was ready, Muon let the Captain know they were ready to launch. Muon noticed two things as she entered the shuttle behind the Captain and proceeded to close the door. She noticed Ronin exiting the shuttlebay. It gave her a sense of pride knowing he would be ok. Waving to him one last time, she also noticed the temporary XO as she exited the shuttlebay. Muon kept saying "temporary" to herself like a mantra. Shaking her head to clear it, Muon jumped into her seat and commenced the start up sequence. After a preflight check, she requested permission to launch and then set course for Huret. They were now on their way. Aegis was in somebody elses hands for awhile....

Muon had heard Ethan's request to beam her to the shuttlebay instead of using the TLs. By the FCA, Muon was going to do that. Ethan was her XO and friend. It was the least she could do. She was surprised when the Admiral and the Captain came in and noted the look on Ethan's face. Quickly, Muon threw everyone out of main security that didn't need to be there. There were no words of comfort that Muon could offer so... Muon just smiled and gave the order to energize. She watched sadly as Ethan and the rest of the security team were beamed to the shuttlebay. Ethan was heading to Vulcan to receive the help she needed. There was nothing more that Muon could do except... Quickly, Muon transported Ethan's ice skates onto the shuttle with a note. "Wouldn't want you to get out of practice and fall on your butt. Muon." That was all Muon could do for now. Then the comm came in from the Captain to gather a team and meet him in the shuttlebay in 10 minutes. She told Ronin to gear up Alpha team and have them meet her there. Muon didn't know what was going on yet, but she was sure the Admiral had something to do with it since he had just gotten back from whereever. She gathered her own tactical gear while Ronin was calling Alpha team. Heading to the shuttlebay with Ronin, she gave last minute instructions to him. V'Ran would be in charge until she got back. Ronin was to continue training and becoming familiar with the day to day operations of the station. Help out V'Ran and keep everyone safe. By the time they arrived in the shuttlebay, Muon was sure Ronin's head was spinning from all her instructions. She made a mental note to send a message to V'Ran while enroute to whereever. Placing a hand on Ronin's shoulder, Muon bid him farewell and boarded the shuttle. They were ready to go and awaited the Captain.......
