As Fred stated, there hasn't been a time in my memory when there hasn't been a Trek series on the air. I like ENT. Sure they got off to a so-so start, but they are getting better. I think this series should be given a chance to prove itself. Now if you all will excuse me, I must cry :lol: . Jenna

I am so sorry you had a rough first sim! Please don't give up! You are not expected to know how to do everything on the first try, it will take a few trys to become used to filling the positions the GM's give you. The Academy sims are here to teach you what you need to know, in order to continue to an advanced sim. Please try to be patient and stick with us. I know if you'll give it a couple more tries you'll come to love it. That's my two cents. Hope you stay with us. Jenna

Welcome to STSF, Dark Helmet, Eredan, and Sam! :P All the advice I have to give is from my own academy experience; Play as many positions as you can, even though you may not know what to do in that particular situation. It will help you know what position you are best at, when you graduate the academy, and apply to an advanced sim. If in doubt about what to do, ask your CO, or a GM. Finally, follow GM's directions at all times, and keep busy, within the position you are playing. Good luck to you all, and again Welcome!

I Agree with Sam here. I am slightly confused :P , what are we supposed to be buying/watching with Bill Shatner in it? Captain Huff started this topic, I think, unless there is more about it on the board somewhere B) : I love Bill Shatner. I mean, I love watching him now, he is very funny. I watched him on Third Rock From the Sun,he was hilarious. :D I never liked him much on OTC, he seemed very arrogant, :P maybe age has mellowed him. :D No hate mail please!!! :D Just one doctor's opinion ;)

I believe that if you'll look at your post, you will see that instead of writing; you spelled Manticore Manticorn, you wrote; your spelled Manticore Manticorn. I'm no great speller myself,and certainly not a Vulcan, but I find that pointing out to Johnny, that he spelled a much larger word than you wrong, is just, well........Facinating B) Oh well, guess we all make mistakes :D J/K.....Ya know I luv ya :D Jenna

Welcome to STSF! :D My advice... do what the others in this post have recommended, and try as many positions as you can. In this way you can find out which area best suits you, then when you graduate, you can request that position aboard the Advanced Sim you are posted to....that is if the position is avalible. Good Luck..Have fun..Attend as many sims as possible.. and above all, listen to the GM in charge! :P

I always find that watching lots of any Star Trek episode, and reading the Star Trek books help. And when I can't remember any of the medical jargon :P .... I just make something up. :D Anyway, good luck, and don't worry, you will learn as you go.
