  1. RawI Hom Ramjep entered her quarters shortly after the order that she would be on the away team was given. So she packed up a few things in a small shoulder bag to take down. Dak’tagh and disrupter were already upon her person, and she debated taking a disrupter rifle with her as well. That would be found at the armory. She glanced to the holopic of her daughter and picked it up. A smile as she put the picture in her bag. Then she looked to the bed, and found the sheet wasn’t moved at all since she had risen that morning. Narn must be working double shifts. At least that is what she hoped that he was doing. Slow steps took her to a padd on the dresser, where she tapped in a note to him. Narn, I am going on the away team. Just remember, should I find honorable battle, and find Sto’vo’kor before you, I love you. Ramjep She put the padd on the bed where she hoped he would find it. Adding a tricorder to the bag, she zipped it up and slung it over her shoulder. She walked out of quarters and headed to the meH again, to make last minute security checks before rendezvous at the transporter room.
  2. Ramjep secluded herself in her quarters for the next few days after the battle with Qel Garnoopy. She had things to think about, and seclusion was the best way to deal with it. The Qel had fought well, with a stamina that could rival any Klingon male. This fact tugged at the back of her mind, like a targ tugging on a bone. Was she getting that soft, that even a human male could tax her fighting abilities? This and another doubt crept into her mind. Narn. Her mate had not been around much. Keeping himself busy at his post, which was not an unusual thing for him, but generally he found times they could be alone. At least as alone as they could be with their growing daughter needing care. Maybe that was it then? Narn now had a child, and now she was unappealing to him? She got up and walked to the full length mirror, studying her shape in the casual attire she was now in. She had returned to her normal weight after the delivery, she was the woman that she had been, before pregnancy. Males were difficult to figure out, that she knew as she studied her reflection. Garnoopy. The Qel again came to mind. He had gotten in a several good attacks, and she had underestimated him, not moving back quick enough to avoid almost being eviscerated. When she had pressed the attack, he had met it with an endurance she hadn’t expected. The Qel was becoming an enigma to her, natural curiosity was beginning to demand the questions be answered. She walked over to check on her daughter, who was fast asleep. Narn should be back soon. She went into the bedroom and changed into her uniform, rolling her shoulder a bit in the leathers. A check of her chronometer, to make sure Narn’s duty time was just about over. When he returned, she would head out to check on Security. Messner was in charge at the moment, and she wanted to find out how the newest security officer was doing. Messner would have been able to watch the Ensign’s work while she had been taking this time off. After that was completed, Ramjep planned to visit a few people, Rhoz was on the list. Maybe he could answer a question or two. She was hesitant to talk to the HoD, but perhaps she would also consult her on the things that were bothering her.
  3. The Qob had finally calmed down and it seemed that the crew were adjusting to the reality of 'now'. All but RawI Hom Ramjep; she now challenged Dr. Garnoopy to bladed combat. Dr. Garnoopy had fired his phaser when she had fought him unarmed. Now Ramjep was determined to right that wrong by a test of fighting skills. Her challenge was issued in front of LtCdr Rhoz and RawI Kwalas, thus it was witnessed. It seemed that the good Dr. Ganoopy was hesitant to accept the challenge. If need be, Ramjep would drag the Qel to the holodeck herself. She had studied Garnoopy while they talked of combat, and it seemed that he wasn't taking her seriously. Once convinced that Dr. Garnoopy would arrive at the holodeck under his own power, Ramjep went quickly to her quarters. Twin Bat'leths and twin dak'taghs were chosen, the daggers placed in their sheaths on her weapons belt, a bat'leth carried in each hand. The most direct route to the holodecks was taken, she strode with Klingon confidence to her destination. Just the creak of leather disturbed the quiet of the corridor as she arrived. Speaking in Klingon, Ramjep gave the computer the program she intented to use. As the door opened it revealed the red grass of a QonoS Cliff, with the sight and sound of the sea breaking on unforgiving rock. In the distance was Distanda Island, where Ramjep had once made her home. There she stood, the wind whipping back her long locks of raven hair, waiting for Dr. Garnoopy with a determined look in her midnight blue eyes.
  4. Being constantly confused was not boding well for the Klingon Security Chief. Information overload was simply diverted to the subconscious to be analyzed later on. Now Ramjep was facing LtCdr Narn, and he flat out refused to follow her out of the brig. Now most times, a prisoner would be glad to leave confinement, but this male was different, he seemed a bit more belligerent than most. Perhaps he was trying to trick her, to let her guard down. Ramjep eyed him with suspicion and made the request again. Again he refused to accompany her to LtCdr Rhoz. Having no weapons upon her person, she would have to 'encourage' him to leave the brig physically, and since he was much greater in height and mass than she was, she would have to use brains over brawn. So she offered a kind smile, a low snort of patience and jerked her head towards the door, asking yet again for his cooperation and to follow her. Aware he was angry, perhaps about being confined, she watched warily as he seemed to be on the verge of making a decision.
  5. Ramjep listened to Dr. Garnoopy, understanding for the most part what he was speaking about, but not really remembering either reality A or B. Her brow furrowed as she listened, trying hard to remember events prior to being beamed aboard this ship. The memories eluded her, so she must take the word of Dr. Garnoopy. Carefully watching him, she thought he was intelligent, skilled in medical training and the ways of battle. Indeed, he had shot her with a phaser, when she had tried to strangle him. But the desire to harm him had long passed away, now she was interested in what made him the male he was. Ramjep’s curiosity had been the driving force behind most of what she did, though her sense of duty was still intact. A glance to her uniform gave her the sense of rank, but her lack of weapons somehow disturbed her on an instinctive level. She would eventually have to find out what her position was here, before she disgraced herself. Being held prisoner, then released to be briefed on realities was a conflict within her strained mind. Little flashes of memory told her she was to listen to HoD Bch, and RawI Kawalas, follow orders, and then the memories faded into the background. Constant confusion seemed to the order of the day, as she watched Dr. Garnoopy with a look of keen interest. She had not forgotten that he has shot her, nor did she forget the doctor was the one that healed the wound that he himself had inflicted. RawI Hom Ramjep Security Chief IKC Qob/Lakota
  6. Things weren't going well for the Klingon Warrioress, she had been beamed aboard the "enemy" vessel, stunned at least twice and then shot at point blank range with a Federation phaser. To add to it all was a headache had increased to the point it was nearly incapacitating. But the pain had been shut off with the unconsciousness induced by the phaser hit to her mid body, and as fate would have it, vital organs had been missed. The doctor, Garnoopy, used his medical talents and repaired the damage, and gave her pain killers to block out the pain from the memory merge, hopefully to let her brain sort out the realities. But could the Doctor work his talents on her wounded ego as well? Blissfully unaware of being shot, Ramjep was in a medically induced state of unconsciousness, which left her mind to the sorting out of the puzzle. All the memories were not adding up, and in the dream state, memories could be manipulated by the subconscious. Events that didn't make sense were avoided, facts skewed somewhat as Ramjep's mind tried to make sense of it all. But it wasn't making sense at all, so her mind retreated further, opening yet another door to see what was within memory's chambers. Ramjep remained on the biobed in sickbay, with Garnoopy watching over her. RawI Hom Ramjep Chief of Security
  7. RawI Hom Ramjep Personal Log SD 0306.10 The battle raged within my mind much as it did when it raged between the two warships. Now it seems, I am being moved from the MRF to the Qel's office. The HoD is there as well, but my memories are now in conflict. Which one to believe? I am suspicious that the Qel Garnoopy has done something to alter things to his advantage. Why else would he be using a phaser to control what is going on? When I concentrate to much on sorting this out, a bright pain begins in my head. Thought it can be ignored, it is a bother when trying to figure this out. So I am now waiting to see what the HoD decides and I will keep my eye on the Qel. Another concern is a lack of weapons. Should the need arise for battle, we have been stripped of even a daq'tagh. I remember being beamed aboard, being stunned, and then the rest becomes borderline on the fantastic. I am not sure all of it is real. Or perhaps the reality is harder to swallow. For now...the waiting continues.
  8. So their ship had fallen in battle? They were beamed aboard a Federation ship and were now prisoners? This would not be tolerated. The humans holding them would be fought until the Klingons' last breath, or at least until they were stunned yet again. Those thoughts went through Ramjep's mind as she stood with Bch and Kwalas, eyeing the man that pointed his phaser at her, and the other security officers surrounding them. Ramjep glared at the Federation officers, showing no fear, just the stoic acceptance that this would indeed be a good day to die, fighting their enemies face to face, instead of a ship to ship battle. Her head ached with the previous phaser stunning, it was worse than a hangover from bloodwine's excesses. Her hand kept going to her belt, where her disruptor and her dagger were missing. No matter, she would launch herself at the male again, only to feel that splitting pain in her head, then the blackness of unconsiouness as her body collapsed into a heap on the deck plating. Her mind drifted, dreaming in that state of a time when perhaps the two ships were one…
