  1. Sharing the Love

    "ACHOO!"

Aliana sneezed and grabbed another tissue. She was huddled on her bed with the temperature blazing.

Earlier that day Aliana had gone for a swim before coming back to her quarters to get ready for the new opening party of the diplomatic wing. When she had arrived she was overcome with nausea and stayed in her bathroom for 5 minutes before coming out. A headache ensued and she cursed as she ran back to her bathroom. She pieced together that she got food poisoning, most likely from some bad cheese she had. So now she was on her bed resting after a quick treatment.

"I dan't believe dis," she mumbled. "What dar de oddthes?"

She sniffed and shuffled over to her console.

"Domputher, pleath dithplay all dew methages."

"Please Repeat Command," the computer replied.

    "Dithplay messtheges."

    "Please Repeat Command."

Aliana grumbled and shuffled away before returning with some hot lemonade and proceeding manually.

    "No new messages."

Aliana sighed and suddenly the console beeped.

"On pl—never minthd," she said as she pressed a button and a picture of her cousin came up.

    "Hi Aliana! How are you?"

    "Thi Nuralthia."

"Oh wow Ali, you sound terrible!"

"I dow, I tink I have thood poisoning."

    "Oh no!"

"Thit's ok. I thould feel better sthoon."

"Ok. I hope you don't get food poisoning by my wedding."

Aliana smiled and replied, "I thon't let mythelf."

"Well, maybe I should contact you later."

"Oh tho. I thant somethone to thalk tho."

"Alright. How are you on your new post?"

"Ith's great. I althready made a few friends."

"Well, you never had trouble with that."

"Tanks. I met thome of them at Red thar lounthe."

    "Cool."

    "Yep. Ith's fun."

    "What else has been happening."

"Well, a thew weeks ago, I was on a athay team that wath attacked by 8472 thips."

"Oh my god. Are you ok?"

"Yep. I remether me anthd two others were attacked by thone in a corridor. Thankfully we kthilled it."

    "I am glad."

"The only thing was one of them was thouched by the 8472 and had tho cut this tharm off," she said, sounding tragically unscientific.

"Oh my god. How is he now?"

"He got reassigned to another post."

    "That sounds horrible!"

"It thas. At least we didn't die."

"That's you Ali, trying to look on the bright side. Always's sharin' the love."

    "Hehe, tanks Nurathia."

Nuralia turned around and wrinkled her nose before turning back to Aliana.

"Ali I am sorry but I have to go."

    "It this fine. Bye."

    "Bye!"

The screen went black and the computer closed it down. Aliana walked back over to her bed and laid down in it. "Heh, that thas nice."

  2. ... while your friends breathlessly talk about the soon to be "Twilight" movie, while you talk breathlessly about the new Star Trek movie.

... You memorized all of Garak's good lines.

... You have most of the cast's, from the shows, official sites bookmarked on your computer.

... Because you cannot buy the posters/t-shirts/other merchandise you make your own.

... You have three huge boxes of star trek goodies (scripts, books, maps, blueprints, ect.)

... You loved star trek from age 4.

... All of the above and more.

...... This is all me. lol... and also, I am more of a hard-core trekker then a trekkie (... if you make a point to define that thin line.).

  3. Just had my first sim, shouold be a lot of fun. Few Questions:

Not that i am not having fun, but what 'is' the tie frame for graduation, just so i know.

    Thanks! :)

well, you have to have been to at least three academy sims, and most of the time's it is more then that. Have fun!

  4. Honestly I thought the movie went on a little too long and was structured oddly -- there were about five points where it felt like we'd hit the climax and the movie was over...and then it kept going...

Great acting/writing/cinematography, though, and Heath Ledger was, as advertised, amazing. So it was worth the money I think.

    isn't Heath Ledger dead?

  5. Don't worry. The majority of people are mouth breathers anyway, and it's easier to be insensitive. It really annoys me when people feel sad about stupid people getting themselves killed, like that kid in Georgia who got decapitated on a roller coaster for trying to get his hat.

It's the ultimate hipocracy. People want to feel bad for people who are little more then wastes of resources...vesus the thousands of children that will starve to death.

    Today.

It just shows how totally messed up humanity is. Which is why the minute I turn 18 I am heading out for tanzania to help children there (kinda like my cousin did). In the meantime I am a adolescent trying to help other adolescents and children in the biggest way I can. Oh and nature. Don't forget how much animals and nature make it possible for hu-maans to live. Which really bugs me how unappreciative hu-maans are. I mean all of that stuff adults tell you when you are small about being nice and sharing, just makes me think "Oh my freaking god. Do you want to be the pot or the kettle today?" I want to live on Pluto. Yeah Pluto. Sadly I would probably die the minute I set foot on it but hey, one can dream.

Rockin'! I wish I was in Scottland... I bet it would be cooler then here, but my family was kicked out like 100 years ago. Hahahahaha! Great name by the way.
