X'aedell

X'aedell woke up with sharp pain on her forehead and felt with her fingers to find a gash with dried blood on her forehead. She groaned, trying to think what happened and then remembered. She had gone to sleep in her quarters and woke up with a jerk.... and hit her head against some wooden object. She remembered the sour smell of wet wood and ocean, but frowned as she realised that those smells were still there. In the dim light she saw that she was in some sort of sleeping quarters. "Is this some bad dream, but everything is too real!" . As she tried to get up, she almost hit her head again on the low ceiling above her. She bent to step out of the bunk she finds herself in, but almost fell to the floor. "Damn", she said, grabbing her head. "A double bunk! This isn't a dream" "Hello... ? Anybody there?" She got off the bunk and made her way towards the sounds above her. She narrowed her eyes against the sharp sunlight. Her mouth dropped open when she saw the crew dressed in weird clothing on a boat on the ocean. She almost got knocked off balance by the movement of the ship. She blinked and stared wide eyed at the commotion in front of her. "Must be this knock on my head", she thought with her one hand still holding the gash. "Gotta get to sick bay, this can't be real."

Don't worry, we all... nah, well, some of us start here completely clueless of whom I am one :blink: I didn't know my << from my :: from )) in the academy! :lol: much less what I was supposed to do and I graduated. Ask questions, read some academy and advanced sim logs. Capt Moose' s tips are great too and most of all: Have fun!!

Well uuuhhh, what I mean is ...the tug has mice, yes mice ...and you have to find your own food and beat it! :blink: And.. I am, well I am just a bit lazy sitting down...and well uhmm..... (Better A9 :lol: )

Hey BTW all :lol: - this tug is nice and the food - well, can't beat it!! (Well, I haven't done much else than say a few VERY polite hello's and well ... eat) :blink:

Don't worry, I am 7 hours ahead, so if they say it's 10ETPM, it is 5am here where I am :lol:

Oh what am I going to do?! the Manticore grabbed me....... ;) ! :: her voice disappears in the distance:: I'll just have to create more characters to play on some of these other, well glorious boats, oops, ships...

Hey Dom, tx for that great explanation! I've already graduated, but would still find this VERY helpful ;) And Mac, well "just do it"!! If I made it through the Academy and graduate, well then anybody can :P

Hi, I got up early only to find that I couln't get into the academy - I tried all the help topic said, but with no success. If anyone could help that would be great, I'll just try tomorrow again anyway

Hi, I did downnload the recomended Java version again, and eventually l logged in. But of course by that time i suppose i missed all the action and ended up on the Excalibur.. thanx anyway, hope when i drag myself out of bed at 04:30 am, it will be worth it

Hi, well I clicked the live chat, got the window and nothing else, re-entered a few times with the same result, the ended up re-downloading the java browser, which i already had. by the time i was ready i was too late i suppose and ended up in Excalibur. So I'll try again in my early morning - South Africa (I suppose I will be STSF's woman in South Africa....

Hi everyone, I am new here will join the acedemy as soon as I can drag myself up at 5am - I don't live in the US. I am a night owl, but will have to become a day owl :blink: to be able to join in.

They say "the early bird catches the worm" well i say: The early worm gets caught!! They made the Academy so early, well for me that is - it actually means starting at 04am for me :blink: :lol: . I guess I'll get up and get to bed again...
