Blood type: O + Special Abilities: Empathic Spouse's Name: No Spouse Mother's full Name: Trianna Amaryllis Triola Tanner Race: Betazoid Born: On the twenty-sixth day of April at 6:39 P.M. age 48 Mother's occupation: Daughter of the third house of Betazed and keeper of Betazed History Father's full name: Artemas Reid Tanner Race: Human Born: On the eighteenth day of July at 8:03 A.M. age 57 Father's occupation: Lawyer with his own practice and Professor of Law at Harvard University Siblings: None Past assignments: None Hobbies: Music and Poetry, the theater and the “arts” in general Talents: Pianist, Poet and Painter Personal History Xantara’s parents had met when her mother had fled to earth in search of asylum and legal assistance. That’s when she met the handsome and charming Artemas Reid Tanner. It was love at first sight and Trianna decided to abandon Betazed and remain on earth with her new found love. They quickly married and settled in Cambridge Mass. Where Artemas had his law practice and also taught at Harvard. Trianna had become pregnant within their first year of marriage, how ever she also began to yearn once again for her home world. Little Xan was born to a seemingly happy and loving family, for the first six months to a year anyway. Her Mother anguished over her increasing need to return to Betazed and settle her legal matters. When Xan was almost a year old she and her Father returned with her Mother to her home planet. Unfortunately her husband was unable to help much with Trianna’s legal matters and the only resolve acceptable to the Betazoids was her immediate incarceration. Trianna thought it best for Xantara that she and Artemus forget that she ever came into their lives. Xantara and her Father were forced to return to earth where they would not see Trianna again. However Mr. Tanner had sources on Betazed that kept him informed of happenings with Trianna. She would forever be his one and only true love. He never filed for a divorce or had another serious relationship. Years later he learned that after time was served all was forgiven and Xantara’s Mother currently serves as head Historian of Betazed. Upon their return to earth Xantara was raised by her loving and doting Father and was honored to visit her human Grandparents farm every summer. She quickly learned that she had a gift for understanding others emotions, but any mention of this to her Father was quickly laughed off or ignored. He didn’t want his only child to be an outcast or different from the other children. It was bad enough she no longer had her mother. He thought he was protecting her. Xantara also had a talent for music and poetry and the arts in general so early on she had lessons in the piano and other music and painting and such like things. She excelled academically as well and was easily accepted into Harvard where she studied psychology and medicine receiving her degrees in both. With feeling of being motherless growing stronger through the years and with her Father eventually consuming himself with his work, she decided to join Star Fleet to put her skills to use and to busy her mind further. Deep down she secretly craved her Mother’s home world and hoped to eventually find her way to Betazed. Cadet Xantara
