Personal Biography

Natalie grew up on the family farm outside of Wichita, Kansas along with her three older brothers and her parents. Her great-aunt and mentor -- who'd retired from Starfleet life when Natalie was only a few years old -- also lived with the family, and served as a great inspiration to the young woman.

Althrough she enjoyed working with animals and agriculture, she decided that she would rather work with peoplem and inspired by her aunt, decided to become a doctor. She graduated from Wichita Heights High School as salutorian, already haven taken several dual enrollment courses through the Academy.

After receiving her undergraduate degree in pre-medical biology, she continued on to receive a general medical degree, with secondary specializations in viral physiology and battle medicine. Upon graduating the Academy, she was assigned to the USS Grant as an ensign, serving as an assistant medical officer for a year.

After this time, she was reassigned to the USS Challenger, where she currently serves.
