BIOGRAPHY:
Daughter of Steven and Isharr, Nelar is your typical half human/half klingon. At an early age, Nelar was taught by her parents the importance of both her heritages. With her father's gentle hand to guide her, she also learned to control her temper, sort of. Her early years were pretty much normal and her Starfleet years were hard. It was not easy to be ordered around by others but she made it with distinction. After receiving two Starfleet Extended Tour Ribbons, Nelar became Commanding Officer of the USS Gideon, sent on long range scanning and exploration missions. During that time, she received her third Ribbon. She was also awarded the Order of the Bat'Leth by the Klingon government for helping to save the life of a son of Klingon High Command member, in which she also received the Starfleet Decoration for Gallantry. She almost died during this battle and has a long scar across her back which she keeps as a reminder of honor.
