USS Agincourt NCC-81762 “Boarded!” Security Yellowshirt> +Bridge+ I'm on the Romulan holding deck... they've come out of their quarters with weapons - we're undermanned for them all! What's... ::silence:: - USS Agincourt Sim, March 22, 2006 (2397) “That green-blooded son of a b****…” – Dr. Leonard McCoy, Star Trek III: TSFS ___________________________________________ Things had changed rather rapidly in the last 10.346 seconds on the good ship Agincourt. The mystery as to why two Klingon and Rihan ships had rammed one another had just blossomed into a whole other problem, namely a Rihan boarding party on the ship. Her mind worked. How the deuce did they manage that? Subverting the ‘Court’s warning systems like that? It must have been when sensors went down temporarily after the initial ramming explosion. In the chaos of the collision and the resulting explosion that knocked out their sensors, something was beamed aboard the ship. That something, say a wide band transporter beacon, then left the ship wide open for the invaders to beam on board. Main Engineering was now cut off from the bridge, presumably due to the unwanted company down there. The Rihan survivors held on deck seven had jumped their security contingent, and now the internal sensors were down. Ship wide comms as well as other areas of the ship were so far were unaffected, but that was a small comfort. In essence, the entire ship could be controlled from Engineering if a person knew what they were doing with regard to re routing systems and such. With the technical and pragmatic security officer type thoughts out of the way, Kansas reverted to a primal one: those green blooded sons of b****** did NOT just invade our turf! She couldn’t help it. She was a cat. All cats, no matter the species, were highly territorial and did not take kindly when their turf was invaded. And, the Agincourt was her territory. There would be hell to pay. Her prayers went out to those Agincourt personnel trapped and injured by these invaders. And, she kept in mind that the invasion party could very well be a turncoat Rihan group, completely removed from their Alliance allies. Security officers always walked the line between aggression and pragmatism. This stance was necessary for the job, yet still an odd pairing of agendas. …and cats are very good at being pragmatically aggressive. Lt.
