History:

 

Born on ch'Havran and the youngest of four children, Rhean was a surprise for her parents, who had meant to wait until their third child, Mnharru, had started schooling before contemplating a fourth. The two girls, who grew up close as twins, considered it a happy accident. So did their parents, except when the girls managed to cause some sort of mischief neither could have gotten into alone.

 

Rhean was a perpetually inquisitive child. She brought home a succession of temporary pets, disassembled any number of small appliances, and ruined a small mountain of clothes with the residues of various 'chemical' experiments.

 

Through the efforts of her eldest sister, Rhean's energies were gradually directed towards the Galae. Though she did toy briefly with engineering, ultimately she decided that there were more things to play with in the sciences. She graduated from the academy in the top fifteen percent of her class, though she had been on course for a still higher spot until she changed her senior project a half-dozen times and ran short of time to complete it.

 

The RES Talon is her first assignment.

 

Personality Profile:

 

Rhean is irrepressibly optimistic. While not approaching lloann'su levels of bubbly, she is – there's really no other word for it – 'perky.' As long as she has an interesting mystery to solve or a new puzzle to toy with, she calls it a good day.

 

On the other hand, Rhean bored is occasionally a dangerous thing, as, lacking challenges, she will seek out or invent some. Normally the only person this causes problems for is Rhean herself, but there was that incident her family refers to as "The Great Aq'uari'um Debacle." Rhean does not talk about it. Ever.
