Name: Mikhail "Mik" Sergeiovitch Gallatinov

Background: Born in Volgagrad, Russia, Earth, Mikhail grew up the son of a Starfleet officer and the grandson of Starfleet officer. He grew up away from his father, Sergei Popvocitch Galatinov, who spent most of his time away on various Starfleet assignments. Mikhal grew up idolizing his father, who he saw as a distant but admirable hero. His mother was a professor who taught at a local university. By his mid-teens, fascinated with his father\'s career, he decided to follow in his footsteps and join Starfleet. He went to the academy, studied hard, and came out in the middle of his class through hard work and perseverance. He was assigned to the Arcadia as a member of the ship's security forces.

 

Now, after participating in the background of the ship's many adventures, he has been promoted to Chief Tactical Officer and nervously looks forward to his new responsibility.

 

Personality: Friendly and perhaps a bit overeager, the young officer is desperate to prove himself up to the task of his new assignment. He is quick to grow frusturated with things that do not work, and will sometimes retreat into a melancholy state where is aloof and uncommunicative. But, for all his faults, he does his best to work well with others.

 

Physical Description: Mik is a fairly typical Russian. He is tall, about 6' even, with dark colored hair and dark colored eyes. He is in excellent physical condition, having an affection (some might say obsession) with the ancient earth game of football (soccer).
